It seemed like a simple enough inquiry to ask for the cable or at the very least be pointed in the right direction. Instead what I thought was going to be a 5 minute call, was 40 minutes, and with each representative tossing me to the next (I was transferred 7 times...until I finally hung up). To say the least, I'm disappointed.

Goodbye Best Buy

Last year, for the first time, I spent $3200 instead of $3500, so I was reduced one rank. The end of June, I purchased a window air conditioner. About two weeks later, it stopped working. I called customer service and I was told that I only had 2 weeks for a return or exchange. I have been an Elite Plus for many years, but last year I missed it by $300. So as a Plus member, I told customer service that I have 30 days. I was then told the program had been discontinued. Huh? When? And why did I spend $3200 last year? There wasn't I'm sorry, let me see what I can do. Just cannot help you.

NEVER AGAIN!

It didn’t fit, and they didn’t tell my husband that they were leaving, but walked out the front door saying fridge doesn’t fit. He went to look, then went back outside to talk to them and they were gone like bandits. Clearly didn’t want to take it back. It was not leveled or anything. They also did not hook up a new water line that I was charged for and told my husband we would get a credit for it. NOPE - they charged us for that too. I will NEVER buy another appliance from Beast Buy!

Buyer Beware

They diagnosed the problem and said I needed new parts to be able to switch inputs on my receiver in order to go from watching tv to playing the PS4. They were going to order the replacement part and schedule the installation. That was over 1 month ago, I called to follow up but no order has been made, no follow up by the Geek Squad. I thought paying for “Total Tech” membership would help in instances like this but it does not. I’m still waiting for my issue to be resolved. Completely unimpressed with their service.

Horrible care

Geek squad supposedly fix it right. 1 year later same issue came up and they told me I was out of warranty so basically beat it. $800 down the drain and no one stops to help. Totally didn’t know my warranty expire 4.5 months ago but if the situation got fix correctly the first time, I wouldn’t be in this situation. No manager or representatives willing to help. Thanks for beating me for $800. Credit card will be closed. I, nor family, nor friends will ever be purchasing anything from Best Buy ever again. It might not mean a thing. But to us it does.

Terrible customer service!!!!

One women answered me and then just left me on hold for hours. Another person said "she couldn't hear me" I called one more time and the women said she one minute and I asked if she was going to put me on hold and she said no "I'll put you on mute"... 45 minutes later and still does not take me off mute.

Wrong/broken appliances delivered

Comes the truck with two dryers, and wrong make for washer. Decide to have dryer installed. Turns out to be defective. Can’t reinstall old working dryer . Whole thing is a bust. Cust svc says they’ll rectify in a few days. What a screw up. Caveat emptor.delivery guys were good about whole thing.

Bad service, unaccurate information.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I put order 5th Jan 2021, and every time I try to schedule it, I can not do it, calling + chatting, I got different answers and execuses. the first week, I got the installation team not available, call in 24/48 hrs, the second week, I got unit not available, the third week we face system issue, finally on 27Feb I get a phone call to confirm the service to be done on 1st Feb 10 am-12 pm. And no one shows up that day!. I try to call, they drop the phone call after transfer me from department to department.

MY WIFE AND I HAVE SPENT MORE THAN 20 HOURS IN THE LAST 4 DAYS AND SHE'S BEEN ON THE PHONE NO LESS THAN 6 TIMES SINCE LAST SIX DAYS INCLUDING TWICE TONIGHT. SHE'S BEEN HUNG UP ON AT LEAST TWICE AND ALL WE'RE TRYING TO DO IS EXCHANGE OUR DAUGHTES $900 PHONE. WE PAY THE $15 MONTHYL WARRANTY FEE EVERY MONTH, WE'VE PAID THE 250 EXCHANGE FEE. TONIGHT MY WIFE WAS ON THE PHONE FOR AN HOUR, GOT A CUSTOMER SERVICE NUMBER THAT THE ISSUE WAS BEING TAKEN CARE OF, THEN ON HE DRIVE HOME RECEIVES AN EMAIL THAT THE TICKET HAS BEEN CLOSED BY THE CUSTOMER!!!! Worst Buy, worst customer service

Made 4 (four ) calls in the last 30 days to get the reward points for two $1500 purchases made in the last 5 months. Every time is a different story; the purchases cannot be found, they do not have the email address, they cannot find the phone number etc. When you ask to speak to a manager, you are told that it cannot be done. Again, four phone calls in a month, four different stories every time. Please change the company name to Worst Worst Buy and do not expect me to spend any more money at your stores.

Poor customer service

Amplifies a simple problem when communication is not efficient. Also, had to re-order (@ higher price) because package was either delivered to wrong location or was left by the main road and was stolen. I asked for front door delivery. Package was left about 150 feet from front door. Extreme poor customer service!!!!

Bad customer service!

We had some issues with the fridge we ordered so Best Buy told us they will send us a gift card to make it up for us. Months went by no gift card. I called them multiple times, transferring me to one person to another and turns out they sent the gift card to a random address we have never lived at. I mean it would make sense to send the gift card where they shipped the item we ordered right? Well that didn't happen. After another hour phone call they told us they will send a new gift card and that was again weeks ago and still no gift card. Customer service is terrible, I will never order online ever again.

Fuming!

I had a new dishwasher installed yesterday and everything appeared to be working. However, the first load I set to run today quit part way through and the control panel has no power. I'm being told it will be two weeks before anyone can come and look it. Unacceptable to say the least. I asked to speak to a supervisor and have been on hold for half an hour. I don't dare hang up because I don't know if they actually scheduled a service call or not.

DONOT BUY APPLIANCES,HORRENDOUS INSTALL!

Great in store experience HORRIBLE install. It took 3 calls to finally install the washer dryer including the 2nd attempt with rude installer who said I should have purchased from Home Depot. I complained to the store and was told they are aware of these issues and consistently try to elevate the complaints and hope management will try to do so meta out it. DO NOT BUY APPLIANCES FROM THEM. THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE ON BRAND PRICING BETWEEN STORES.

Terrible Customer Service

They say that they have shipped it. They say that it will be going about 100 miles. They claim it will take more than 2 weeks to go this distance. I doubt they have shipped it. The customer service people are barely intelligible. I don't know if it is true or not.

Total Tech + Customer Service = Disaster

Their crew came to install the dishwasher and left claiming that our cabinets were the reason for not being level. It took days to get cabinet installers to return to show us that the rear adjustment of the dishwasher was way off plus the Total Tech person did not collect the electric. Next was our cooktop to be installed. Two weeks minimum wait for installer. Then I asked for refund, spending many hours with some of the worst and rude "customer service" people and end result was don't bother us and hang up!

First delivery was defective. 2nd also has a defect, although, not visible. The HDMI (ARC) doesn’t work. Several calls to technician have gone unanswered.

Geek squad did not offer solutions for my problem
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The gentleman came to my home, checked the tv, said it’s working and offered absolutely no solutions to my technology problems, which were I was not getting enough internet juice to my new tv for streaming. I pretty much had to travel to the store ( since no one at the stores answer phones anymore-but that’s another problem you all aren’t going to solve) and finally spoke with a tech geek installer who was able to provide me with several possible solutions and after extensive research I was able to solve my own problem.
I would recommend this to a friend
