The service geek was terrific, the work was done quickly and properly but Best Buy cutting out in home service from their membership and adding a huge fee is a slap in the face to all of us who have disabilities or no transportation to stores.

Geek squad member came out to unhook dennon reciever so could be taken in to local bestbuy to see if repairable or not. SPECIFICALLY asked him if had to have a appointment to bring in to drop of. Answer was NO, just bring it in. HAHAHA, NOPE! did that, needed appointment. Person at desk, NOT VERY FRIENDLY!!! Made appt, for later. Need to get right info to customer!!! Well, appt made for 2/2,6pm. Text rcvd, had appt for 2/1,6pm??? So called geek squad. Changed appt from 2/2 to 2/1, same time. Why didn't employee give me appt at 6pm on 2/1????, It was open!!!!! Hmmmmm. Anyway, there now. But what a hassle!!!!! Just a bit disappointed!!!! But, the geek squad person we got at store for dropping it off at 6pm was very friendly, nice. Have component now to be checked out.

Easy to schedule an appointment.
We were called before appointment to ask if he could come early! That’s a first for us.
A knowledgeable considerate representative was a big plus. He checked entire system, explained different settings and showed us each setting for us to optimize viewing.
We are new to streaming so cutting the cable umbilical cord was a nervous choice for us. Clear precise instruction was an enormous help.

the first men diagnosed the problem; we decided on repair. It arrived and was installed; it was defective--double picture, 30" times 2. 2 separate repair crews came to diagnose, but were not repair tech. It was finally fixed with a new motherboard.

jose, the tech was good and certainly was knowledgeable. What I am not happy about is I purchased my 75" samsung tv, console and denon receiver at best buy march 2019 and one of the hdmi cables was defective and had to be replaced by my service provider ,hotwire. Also just found out from Jose that my subwoofer cable is defective.
geek squad prices seem a little high for services rendered

The gentleman that came was able to get the picture to come on the tv. We are still without the surround sound that we enjoyed before. Please send someone to correct this issue. To his credit we did not notice the sound problem right away. However now we notice that four speakers are to emoting sound.

Service was great. The technician was very helpful and did well instructing my wife on how to operate everything. He also was very observant and noticed I had a video/digital deadbolt assembly that I had yet to install, he said that was something they could do as well! Looking forward to slimming down my todo list!

The tech identified the problem I was having connecting my bluetooth capable to my cochlear implant processor (direct connect capable, no intermediate devices) and concurrently delivering sound from the tv speaker. After a couple of tries, the tech was able to identify problem and process. All is well. My wife can hear at reasonable speaker levels while I hear via bluetooth with clarity.

The technicians, Michael and Roland, came with parts sent for the TV. Unfortunately, both parts sent were wrong even though they requested them using the correct TV model. When the TV was opened the part numbers were both different and no longer available. They put everything back, cleaned up and then reset the "backup" TV we were using. They did their job, but the manufacturer did not.
