Geek squad installed this thermostat even though the prior thermostat had unusual wiring which made install complicated. They also tested the new install to make sure everything worked perfectly---and it did.

The product is easy to use and has a clear display. Not a lot of bells and whistles but that is what you are paying for. Very easy to read especially for an older person

Umm... my electric bill went WAY down, so this thermostat gets at least part of the credit. And it's easy to program. I like that you set both minimums and maximums so it knows when to heat and when to cool.

So I upgraded the thermostat in my 1990s house and the old unit did not have a common wire AKA C wire. This has to be used to provide power to the unit, old ones used batteries but this uses steady power from that C wire. My house had an extra wire that ran from the furnace to the thermostat but it was not hooked up. So I had to connect the wire to the motherboard and the other end to the thermostat. I has to solder it to the board, others may just be able to plug it in. Once connected and powered up the setup process is a little tricky because it created its own WiFi network and you join that with your phone then link that to your Wi-Fi. Once it’s connected and online it’s smooth sailing. App is fast and allows control from any location with cell signal. It’s a great unit.

Bought this so I could control my thermostat remotely and I have been very happy with the purchase. Easy to install after using various online resources for reference. Very easy to use via my phone or computer. Programming is super-easy using the phone app. Great price for all the features.

I wanted an easy-to-use thermostat with wifi, and this one fit the bill. I purchased 2 of them and I'm so glad I did.

Great buy. It's a straight forward thermostat with some modern twists. Set the temperature from anywhere is awesome. Creating the schedule is easy to do, but doesn't learn habits like some of the other new ones. If that isn't important like it wasn't for me this is a great addition to your home.

This is a great way for me to control the temperature of my RV. Saves me money on heating and cooling because I can set the temperature to my likings before I arrive without having to run them all day

The thermostat is great. Being able to turn on the A/C before I get home on a hot day makes this a must own. I did have an issue when it lost wifi signal, it took a bit of internet searching to find a solution. But I am extremely happy with the purchase.

I'd give it 5 stars except the installation for my heating system which is a heart pump made it more difficult because I didn't understand a few things. I recommend someone familiar with thermostats wire it. But once it's done it works great.

This is a great replacement for my old honeywell programable thermostat, the reason, it's the exact same one but with WiFi, learning curve was easy, install was fast and easy, and a much better price then the best, etc....

The App works well and for the single room temp control it's great. I use it to override the main steam boiler control from anywhere. I now think I will upgrade to the whole home setup with remote wifi thermometers for better control of the building.

This is a great replacement thermostat. Reasonable price, easy and well documented installation, and very good phone app for remote control. Had my furnace checked after installing this and the furnace guy said this is the model they use when doing a replacement. Glad I made the purchase.

Simple to install. Not a straight forward "smart" set up, and this is coming from someone who works in IT. There is a couple minute time gap when using the smart features.

Using 2 units for 2 zones that work in tandem. Programming was easy. Like the auto mode that switches between heat and cool settings. Ability to control by phone remotely is very handy.

An easy way to control your house temperature from anywhere and any time. You no longer have to wait to heat your home or cool your home after being away for extended period of time. Also the comfort of knowing your heat or air is working properly while away.

Easy install as long as you check your wiring prior to purchase to make sure this is compatible with your home. WiFi set up was easy also. Had ours installed and running in less than 30 minutes.

This was my second purchase in my quest to make my house (please read the following quoted sentence with a loud echoey voice) " A HOUSE OF THE FUTURE. " My first was an acurite weather setup to monitor temps all over the house and property. Anyway, this product does not look as cool as some of the other wi-fi enabled thermostats. i.e. Nest. but is at least half the price of most of the others. That being said; while the unit itself is not as pretty visually, the app is very nice and is full featured. If you don't want to use the app, though i don't know why you wouldn't, you can still access all of the features and scheduling of the thermostat right from the unit itself.... Next purchase; wifi smoke detectors and security cameras.
