This does what a thermostat should. It was a little complicated for us to set up with wi-fi and all, but we are not the most tech savvy. We don't really use the feature to change the temp remotely.

Still trying to link to wi-fi. I have called manufacturer's support line and still searching for the right fix. Aside from that the set up was fairly easy and, except for wi-fi, it works well.

Bought this and need a C wire. If you have one behind the wall thats great. But they do sell a adapter with 2 wires you can hook into the unit and give it power from a outlet. So that's what i did now can control from anywhere it's great!!

I have a old home and the old thermostat temperature was either to hot or cold. Everything had to be done manually on the thermostat. Now I am able to schedule my thermostat through my smart phone. Wiring the new thermostat to an old system was challenging but there was enough instructions to figure it out. I am now able to monitor my system away from home. Great system.

We purchased a vacation home in Florida; our primary residence being Texas. We installed this thermostat to monitor the temperature in the FL home while away from it, due to the mold issues one might encounter if the air conditioner and refrigerator is not left on. So far, so good. It's a comfort knowing that all is the way we left it. This thermostat works!

Installation takes a little while but it works exactly as it is supposed to.
