The WiFi feature has been used more that i thought we would. Ease of use and scheduling feature is why i gave it 5 stars. Since our basement is always 5-7 degrees colder than the rest of the house we now can increase the temp from our phones during movie night without interruption or having to go back upstairs.

All was fine until it was time to set up the wifi, so it could be accessed remotely. Too complicated, and if you make a mistake, or the wifi gets disconnected during the process, is almost impossible to fix without completely resetting it, and the manual does not give clear instructions to do so, i had to look it up online, and it was a process. Now, for the price is good, and it has the features of a regular thermostat, with the added advantage of having wifi, and its easy to use.

It’s a great product, but when the power goes out so do this product. You will have to re set it like you do clocks

This unit is very easy to use with your smart phone.

Purchased this device and found the setup to a bit cumbersome, but doable. The functionality added via wifi and App control is nice. However, the device began "short cycling" my air conditioner, (run for a few seconds, then stop, run for a few seconds, then stop. Over and over this would go on). After having technician out twice, they finally diagnosed the problem to be the thermostat. They say all the start/stop has damaged the compressor, and the solenoid, and ran up my electric bill. Due to the damage this has caused, I'd highly encourage you to look elsewhere, or do your homework to ensure this isnt common with this unit

I bought two of these Wifi thermostats for my husband for Christmas. One for upstairs and one for downstairs. He loves them. He works nights since he can control these from the App on his phone and Google he can adjust the temperature very conveniently from his bed without having to get up.

Our old thermostat died and we had heard great things about WiFi thermostats. After some research online, we settled on this one as the price was right for the features included. We couldn’t be happier now that we can adjust the temperature right from bed on our smartphones!

I initially had a Honeywell thermostat and need to upgrade. However, after I purchased I exchanged for the Ecobee Because it had more features. Good price when I purchased but can not tell how it function because I exchanged

This was a task to setup. Need a C-wire, which was quite an ordeal to install. Nice to not have the battery required for devices without the need for this wire, but you need to be ready for some work if you don't have this wire already. Thank goodness for YouTube.

If you are looking for a thermostat replacement at a great value this is the one...access it from anywhere to set temperature and schedule different temperatures at critical times...all without breaking the bank...you will need power wire to connect

I have an old Honeywell thermostat with 4 wires. In oder to install this one, I need a adapter to generate the fifth c wires. I was not sure where I put the extract device, so I returned it to Bestbuy. One comment is Honeywell could build in an internal adapter if needing a fifth C wire.

While this is not a learning thermostat, it is a great thermostat to control when I'm not home. When on vacation, my children will lower the A/C. I can keep an eye on it and adjust it up. I can also use Alexa to control when I am too lazy to get up and adjust

Easy to install, easy to set up and works just right. Iam able to control both of ac systems even before I arrive at home. Very satisfied recommended to anyone needing to upgrade with out going to all the way to high dollar smart ones.

I initially tried the Nest thermostat and it was not compatible with my A/C unit. I then purchased this thermostat and am completely satisfied. I set it up to work with my Alexa. Perhaps not as pleasing to the eye as the Nest, but reliability is better than looks for a thermostat.

It was a little difficult to understand the instructions regarding a "C" wire - and it was a bit of a chore using the app to get the WI-FI set - but the customer service through Honeywell was stellar and all is well.

Was looking to add WIFI capability without spending big$. Picked this up for about $90. Excel had rebate of $75 and a program to pay me $25 a year to allow them to turn off my air conditioner for 15 min if needed during peak times. Works well. WIFI is nice to have.

I was unable to get this to work at my home. Was told I didn’t have enough voltage ie power for this brand or something like that. I thought it was a great product. It just didn’t work for me

This is a great thermostat. I had the non WiFi version of this thermostat. I wanted a smart one. For the price it does exactly what I need it to do. I wish the software features we’re a little more up to date, but it’s working fine for my needs.
