Upgraded our digital thermostat to this programable with wifi capabilities and so glad we did. Husband removed current and installed with new. Connected with our wifi and we were good to go. Love the ability to check and control temp settings from our phone device from anywhere. Very user friendly and would recommend.

It does exactly what i bought it for. Programable, wifi capable and auto changes between temperatures from hot to cold. Just as an FYI to all, auto changing doesn't happen on its own, you have to set it so that it automatically switches between heat and cold. Also, make sure you know which type of system your using (gas, heat pump, etc.) so that it can work correctly for your system. Besides that set up was pretty easy and i can see the temperature and adjust if i need to on my phone.

This model has all the wifi capability of the fancier color screen models but at less than 1/2 the cost. Works great just not all the bells and whistles of the color screen. I had a few questions about the install but Honeywell phone support was outstanding, they even helped me better understand the HVAC system in a house that I had recently purchased. Plus you know that Honeywell will be around years from now...

Bought this as a gift for my parents, so I installed it for them. They had an older Honeywell non-programmable thermostat that was the same shape. I thought it would just swap out using the old wall plate, but it didn’t. That said, it was very easy to switch to the new plate. It’s important to make sure you already have a C wire to power it. It’s not feature-heavy, but it functions well.

I had to correct some wiring in my house to bring this up to where I could install it properly, but after I got that taken care of, the install went just like the instructions and it works great! Especially if you can find it on a good deal (got mine on Black Friday).

I was looking for a thermostat that would work with my variable speed unit without breaking the bank. I didn't want another touch screen because the last one I had didn't work very well. I damaged joints in my fingers trying to get it to change the settings. This one communicates through my phone. It's going on 2 months and it works well so far.

I did online price comparison on this product, Homedepot, Lowe's, Amazon, Ebay. Best buy had item in store for immediate pick up & @ $5 cheaper then anyone else! Plus, best buy offers reward points program, it's a win win situation. The product speaks for itself. Name & quality. We were getting a new AC system installed & wanted a wifi system. This product is perfect! Works on Andriod & Apple phones. Very easy install, setup & use.

When I installed it at first it didn't power up. I called the tech support line and gave up after being on hold for about 20 minutes. I took it out and installed it again and this time it worked. Not sure what the problem was but it works fine. I like being able to use my iPhone to check and adjust my thermostat while I'm on the road. Good product for the price.

Working as expected, easy to program, like wired operation, no longer need to buy batteries for display. Wi-Fi remote operation is a plus.

Our old thermostat had a touch screen that you just couldn't see anymore. We wanted one that had wi-fi capability, but didn't break the bank like others on the market. Honeywell is a reliable company that makes good products. This thermostat was fairly easy to set up, and extremely easy to use. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it doesn't have the option (that I have found) that lets you keep it at a certain temperature without having to switch it back and forth from cool and heat. If I want it no colder than 68 and no warmer than 72, it should be able to turn the cool/heat on to accommodate. Maybe I just haven't figured out that setting yet. Other than that, it's a good purchase that I would recommend for the price.

Pleased with the product, price and how it functions.Once installed, you use your iPhone or other wireless device to program and adjust the temperature. It is one simple app on an iPhone that you open and can quickly monitor, adjust and if needed make program changes to the thermostats. The functionality is wonderful, the ability to program and making temperature changes is so easy.

I installed this thermostat to replace a very similar model that I had for 15+ years. This is very easy to install. Note that there are 5 wires in this model so check what you have already in place. The WiFi capability allows me to adjust the thermostat from my phone- A very nice and convenient feature. Honeywell is a great brand.

Great wifi thermostat for the money. Honestly, I don't think you need anything more than this. You can control thermostat from your smart phone and see the temperature inside. I installed it at my cottage and it works flawlessly. Easy to turn up the heat before I arrive. I can also see the inside temp to make sure furnace is working ok. Took about 15 min to install.

Bought two of these Thermostats. The install was pretty straight forward and easy. They replaced the existing units all most with the exact footprint. They are simple to operate, either physically or by internet.

This thermostat provides a good balance between features and internet connectivity and simplicity, so it's a good value. Setup was relatively easy. While I may make use of the schedule feature in the future, I turned that off and use a manually set temperature. I needed an internet connected thermostat so that I could remotely set the temperature prior to arriving and to make sure that guests turned the thermostat to the proper temperature when leaving. The Nest and some others have learning technology that I really didn't need and that added $100 to the cost. Honeywell support both the website and email was great. I had some specific questions about my system and the questions were answered promptly. Check ahead of installing if you have questions so that you're not caught without a working thermostat when you have installation or setup questions.

This unit is excellent. Wifi and the app allows control from afar, which is a huge plus. Very pleased with this unit and has some deal with Duke electric here in the Carolinas as an energy partner, for anyone interested, where the unit can operate with max efficiency apparently.
