    Would not work for some reason. Kept trying to run both ac and furnace at the same time.

    I would have kept the unit had it worked. Reviewed it online and determined that it was what I was looking for. Too bad!

    Would not go into pairing mode. Opened a support call and did not hear back until a week later. Response was a simple regurgitation of what was in the manual.

    I've been looking at these for a while and saw it while buying a TV. I installed it and the instructions were super easy. It was just like installing any other thermostat. The wireless setup was easier than I could imagine. It said I could do it from my smart phone, so I did. It took 2-3 minutes and the bulk of the time was registering the device via my phone. No buttons to push to setup the wireless connectivity, the device acts as it's own access point, so my phone saw it,and connected to it.. Then through the interface, I joined it to my home network. you DO NOT have to be tech savvy to do this. The instructions are very simple to the point where you're feeling as though your hand is being held through the process. Now, i am enjoying controlling the thermostat from my phone while at work and making my beautiful wife think I'm a hero for getting this working. The interface for the app is nice and clean. It is very easy to operate. I'm using a Galaxy S4 and the Android app is outstanding. Honeywell, nice work! If you're reading this....BUY IT!

    Doesnt work for remote acess

    This works UNTIL you try to hook it up to wifi, no support to readily call to probkem solve. Just plain frustrating. Im stuck with it now since i didnt have tine to get it back in the return time window.

    I bought this model yesterday in order to get it included in my SmartThing environment. I spent some times on internet checking if it would be compatible as this was not advertised and some models are compatible some aren't. At the end it works perfectly choosing the Honeywell Wifi FocusPRO 6000 in Smarthing marketplace. Regarding the installation itself, it was really simple by following the guide and using the stickers they provide to label your wires when you migrate from your old to your new thermostat. One small issue however, there was a white particle (dust) behind the glass of the display but taping gently the thermostat with my hand help to make it falling where you cannot see it. The subscription to the Honeywell cloud service was very simple despite taking some minutes and the mobile application provided for free is working nicely. I asked the app support to add Celcius unit that it misses and they immediately feedback they would take this into consideration which shows a very reactive support. I am really pleased with this purchase.

    So I almost switched this out for a nest thermostat until I found out that this thermostat does actually have an automatic mode for it to switch from air to heat automatically. I have had it 3 years and only just found this out from a youtube video. I just did it and now mine does show 'auto' function. Who knew!

    Great thermostat, fast Wi-Fi responsiveness

    I actually bought two of these thermostats, one for my upstairs zone - which has heat and controls my first and second floor central air zone, and one for my first floor that just controls heat. I've only tested the heat as it hasn't really been cold enough yet to use it, but the responsiveness on the AC has been fantastic. I can make the change with the app and the air will come on within 30 seconds or so. Very useful since I have a 2 floor central air system that's one zone, I don't have to go upstairs to turn it on or lower it. They are easy to set up with WiFi if you have the included instructions and works great with a brand new central air system and my 20-year old oil burner.

    I lov this thermostat. It is easy to program using the app on my tablet, or PC. It is very reliable and you get a quick response through the Internet. We have one in our home, and another in our vacation home. It gives you peace of mind knowing what is going on when you're not home.

    This thermostat has lots of settings that you must READ the manual to control e.g. it took a while to figure out why the heating was switching on 2 hours early. However, you cannot change the time by +/- 1 Hour without resetting it and starting again. The WiFi feature connect the Thermostat to the TCC web app. To control it you connect via the TCC app. - The TCC app is very poor (amateur grade) and unreliable. Persevered with this for 6 months, should have just returned it and bought a real smart thermostat. Honeywell do not have a customer service, only tech support who are helpful "In this case, we do not have any other way to complain, We do have a general line but it is only for tech support, those reviews will affect us, I do apologize about the inconvenience". How does a company expect to produce great products if they do not listen to customer feedback!

    I had a TH6000 thermostat which basically looks exactly like this one and all the same features except for no WIFI. I had called Honeywell to insure the wiring was all correct before purchasing this one. It took me ten minutes to take the old one off and put this one in. Then another ten minutes to hook it up to wifi and complete registration. I have no issues using this with my echo dot.
