I had a Nest thermostat before and it was great but I decided to switch it up and bought this Honeywell. I love the size of the screen and that it stays on all of the time since it is visible from the living room. Its not big and bulky, look neat and clean on the wall. The app works great but we did have to set it up online first and then log into the app. So far I have set up the weekly schedule to reduce the amount my system runs while I am at work. And it doesn't hurt that it costs less than the Nest unit I had before.

Easy to connect by taking a picture of your old thermostat before disconnecting. Bright and modern looking. Easy to control with app.

Simple to install and works well. Only issue I had is the thermometer being a couple degrees off other readings I was getting. You can calibrate from settings, but it still seems off despite my best efforts to dial in

I love this thermostat. I've programmed my heating and cooling settings and rarely need to adjust them. When I do, I can change them from anywhere, which is incredibly convenient. Installation and setup were straightforward, thanks to the clear instructions, making it a great DIY experience.

I recently bought a new house and was really in need of something to control my heat and AC in the house. I had a really lousy thermostat when I moved in and I know I needed better. I wanted something that I could control with my phone so I could make changes wherever I was. This gives you complete control over the "Weather" in your home and even has a few different colors for the display. If you need a smart home, this will help you. If you just want something you can trust to keep things right in your home, done. Also, not being a overly handy person, the set up was remarkably easy and straight forward instructions.

Installed thermostat a week ago with no issues whatsoever so far. Instructions are good but if you are not familiar with the wiring differences I recommend downloading the instructions from their website. More detailed information is provided, also read and understand before attempting a self installation.

I needed a new thermostat as my old one did not have emergency heat setting on it. I was looking into purchasing the Nest thermostat and came across this by chance. After reading all the other reviews, I decided on this. I had it installed by my AC guy. Once installed It was very easy to use and it being wifi connected made it so convenient for me to control the temp even when I was out of the country so that my house sitter would have comfortable home to return to after a long winterday's work. Highly recommend it.

Easy Install - have a 2 unit system in the house - it is accurate and easy to use. Still learning all the features

The thermostat seems to be keeping the temps at a much more accurate reading than our old one. It's been so convenient to see and adjust or hold the temps from my phone. So easy to read and work with. My wife likes to play with the background colors too. :) It also learns quickly how long it takes to get to a desired temp for a time period and starts getting there at the right time. I highly recommend this unit!! We've had it installed for about a month and zero complaints.

Love love love, bought for my parents and my dad was able to figure out the thermostat and app all by himself But he had to add a C wire so be aware of that

Went back and forth between this and a Nest, before ultimately choosing this one. I like that it has a touch screen and it looks very sleek on the wall. The display is awesome - very clear, shows the weather, temperature/humidity inside and outside, and you can change the color of the background. The app that goes with it has been great too - it's very simple to use and I can change the temperature from anywhere. Have had it for 7+ months now and have not had any issues! Note: Need a c-wire to connect this! I am in older home that did not have one, so it was a bit of a process to try to wire it and get it connected.

This thermostat is great! Easy to configure and even easier to control from the Honeywell app. I have over 30 of these installed across four properties.

This is an awesome thermostat! Easy to install and connects easily to my WIFI. Easy to program and helps save on my electricity bill!

Easy to set up, works great and looks nice. My only frustration with it is the official app to control the thermostat and Honeywells whole approach to the apps is a bit confusing. The link to the app given brings up an app called Total Connect Comfort (TCC) by Resideo Technologies so I downloaded that. But I later noticed that Resideo has an app Called Total connect 2.0 which has way more reviews/downloads and yet another app called Smart Home which can apparently also control the Thermostat like the other 2 apps... Seems strange that instead of consolidating these apps that they have multiple ones that do the same thing. Each has a pretty different interface and after looking online I guess which one to use comes down to a preference and whether or not your controlling other smart products from it. What I concluded from seeing all the apps and other reviews of them is that if you are using it just for the Thermostat then TCC is probably the best. The other ones seem to have more of a focus on controlling multiple things

This is a great thermostat at a great price. I weighed this against an Ecobee and decided on this one because it provides the wifi fi capability I was interested in for a better price. I was a little hesitant because I have used other older Honeywell wifi thermostats in the past and was not impressed with their non-intuitive functions and accompanying app. This new thermostat and associated app are much better than the older ones.

This Thermostat came with easy to install instructions which allowed me to set it up myself. This is the second one I've purchased and both work well.

I bougth this Thermostat again, this is the second time because this is the best for the home. Is simple,elegant and easy for use. The Wi-Fi is a good way for enjoy a nice House.

I purchased this Thermostat to replace an older Honeywell Thermostat which was not as easy to read and did not have the smart features this one has. It was surprisingly easy to install and looks so much nicer than my old one. It also gives the outside temperature and the humidity ratings. I also like the fact that I could use my smart phone to change the settings. Very happy with this purchase and Best Buy was once again the best buy when it came to price.

I did my research before purchasing this unit. This unit does everything I need it to do. It works well with my Alexa upstairs as well as my phone when I am away from home. Other units had features I knew I would not need nor use. If you are looking for smart thermostat that does it include a whole bunch of fluff, this is it. I am not a handyman by any stretch however I was able to install. You must have a C wire or an extra wire, most units do, in order to have the thermostat work.
