I bought this a year ago, kept it in drawer the day I wanted to use it I realized that it is not battery operated as stated in the description on Best Buy website, I went to store spoke to the manager and he refused to return it and got his hands off and told me you are not responsible what is posted on our website.

Not sure if this is a good product. I had my entire heating/cooling system replaced and the techs were also replacing the thermostats. They were not able to get this one to stay powered on so I returned it for a different model.

We had to replace our air conditioner. Instead of getting the thermostat that came standard with the unit, we purchased the smart Honeywell at half the price. It works awesome!

Works great and looks good. Like tge big display and reminders being able to be set up.

This is one of best things I’ve ordered. I am ordering another one for my lake house.

Unfortunately I would not recommend, I believe has a good display but the connection on the back is very bad and fragile.

Aesthetically it looks nice and the app is easy to use. The negatives are that it’s relatively small so some of the text on the display is hard to read. The touch display also seems to be glitchy and you have to tap it 5 or more times for it to respond. I likely will not buy this again.

Lasted about a year before having issues. The corresponding app is not much help either

Not a lot of adjustments can be made to the settings on this thermostat. Would think it would be more advanced for the price. It's Wi-Fi and works with Alexa, so it does what is needs to.

Just recently installed this thermostst the app for it could be better but it works and the touchscreen isnt as responsive as i would like

It’s alright but the screen could be better. The unit is bright but other then that it’s just ok

Was very clumsy to use. It is very simple compared to a Nest but also is clumsy to operate compared to Nest Thermostats I have used in the past and the price reflects that's.

I have three and love the brand would recommend to my family and friends

I wasn’t sure about this product so returned it back to Best Buy store.

I was so excited to put this up in my condo, then I got it open and 3 of the little panel plastic pieces in the back just popped off and broke. I spent hours trying to figure out how to install this with no C wire in my old thermostat. Then it didn't even work when I put it in. Do your research. If you have no C wire option, don't buy this.

Love the color changing aspect and the graphics. The best part is being able to control it away from home linked with my other smart devices.

Overall good product. Set up was a bit difficult. Took several times before WiFi would connect. Once connected it worked well with no issues to date. App is great.

We got this because we wanted to update our old out of date 60’s thermostat. We have oil baseboard heat with summer/ winter hookup & no A/C. The box said it was compatible with pretty much all types of heat except electric baseboard. When we took our old thermostat out there was no C wire, which is absolutely necessary to connect so we were unable to use it in the house . The system must be heat & air not an old oil set up. Fortunately our garage/ rec room has a heat pump/ AC so we were able to connect it in our rec room. The installation was quick & easy about 1 hr. Take a picture of your wiring before you remove the old thermostat. There are quite a few background color choices to match any decor. Setup was also easy, if you follow the on screen prompts it pretty much guides you through the set up. You can schedule different temperatures for days of the week and hours of the day. WiFi connection was another story, I was able to connect & then lost signal & couldn’t reconnect, you can not set up online unless you are connected to WiFi. I rebooted the router and was then able to connect, so far, so good. The app allows you to control the thermostat from your phone or iPad. Connecting to the app was easy also. Overall this is a very nice looking thermostat which stays lit all the time & it’s easy to read, displaying indoor temperature, heat or A/C setting, outdoor temp & humidity level in room. I’m so glad we were able to use it!

works perfect without wifi connected, with wifi connected at time it works at time it doesn't. I am using it without wifi connected.

Its ok, can not program for both heat and cool. But still a good thermostat
