    Must be replaced the thermostat, and I continue having problems, doesn't work, I don't recommend the Honewell Home Thermostat.. The management at Best Buy, Geek Squad was fantastic and replaced and send me again a technician. For the Termostat 2, for Geek Squad more than 6, 6 over 6, or better 10 over 10, they are always very helpful and answer to all must question, help me with all the problems, they are ready to help, also when I have not appointment. I am very happy to be a member of Geek Squad. I recommend a lot. Always they ready to help you. All the technician are the best of the best. THe problem is the quality of the product. Geek Squad manager replaced without charge

    Best Buy sent an opened and defective product

    Received a opened thermostat that had damage on the board. I tried it anyways and it did not work. The card in the box had a different number to connect to the app than the actual thermostat had assigned to it. Returned and still waiting on my refund after BB having the product for a week.

    Make sure you have a C-wire

    Requirement for connection to a C-wire should be highlighted because if one's home doesn't have one, the Honeywell product cannot be connected without rewiring. A VERY BIG DEAL, making the product far too costly because of the electrical installation requirement.

    Terrible device. Now im a week from returning, it stopped working a week past the time i could return it.

    Had this Honeywell thermostat installed by the Geek Squad. Worked well for three days then stopped sending the signal to the handler. Called a ac guy and he checked everything and found that my new thermostat was defective. He put on a new one and everything works fine. I watched the ac guy every move. I just purchased junk. Will not suggest buying this product

    Purchased but couldn't install immediately due to work being done in house. When HVAC professional installed we discovered that the product was defective and did not work. Best Buy would not allow return since we were one day past return expiration.

    Touch pad is not responsive and difficult to use. To change anything you have to tap several times until it responds. I kept putting off returning it (pain to remove thermostat, secure the leads, etc) and then I run out of time. I will recommend you buy something else.

    Looked great, however too difficult to install. After unboxing and reading instructions I was made aware that an additional electrical power supply line was needed to power the unit.

This thermostat requires a C wire for power, we recommend you verifying if you have an extra wire that is not being used, connect it to the C terminal of your HVAC system and then to the C on the thermostat. If you don't have any extra wires you can contact us and we will be happy to help checking if there is another option depending on your system type and total amount of wires. - Maria resideo

    I am returning it to the store. After 5 minutes the screen said it had a defective sensor and needed to be returned to store. Installed it the night before guests were arriving for Christmas, only to have to reinstall the old one.

    I had a professional installer hook up the thermostat and nothing. It did not show the slightest signs of turning on. I am hoping that just this one unit was a dud, but I was not willing to find out. I returned the unit and went with my second choice.

Our WiFi thermostats do require a C-wire to power on, many older thermostats didn't require a c-wire.     the good: -ease of install/setup - very simple install. instructions clear and easy to follow. -design - compact, stylish touchscreen. -UI design - intuitive, well laid out. indoor/outdoor conditions, color customization for the display, making it easy to match any taste. -wifi connectivity, app control - being able to view and control settings from the app is fantastic the bad: -none that i’ve found so far overall: this thermostat is a replacement for a relatively old 4 wire thermostat in my game room. i was lucky in that the thermostat wire that was run actually included the common wire, though it was not hooked up to the controller board. (there are 2 options for installations with only 4 wires - using the G wire as common, or purchasing a $25 4->5 wire converter.) all i needed to do was connect that wire on both ends (controller board and thermostat) and everything functioned as expected. installation took maybe 15 minutes, and would’ve been shorter if not for the trip into the attic. once everything was up and running, the set up was intuitive and straight forward. one caveat, you do need to register for a honeywell account online to be able to use the app, but not a big deal for most. other than the typical thermostat setup and of course the stylish design, i can now cool off my game room before i go up there, with a click of a button from my phone. awesome!

    If i could ill not give any star .the tech not professional at at he couldn't install it and insame time ruin my old one so i had to call the heat company to fix what he did and that cost me alot .

    Don't buy this thermostat it did not let my heat strips disengage so it run up my power bill 80 kw a day.
