Bought this Honeywell thermostat a few months ago and so far we're loving it! It was so easy to program - it walked us through all the steps - a real breeze! And, we really like the display which shows outside temperature, humidity as well as indoor temp - simple for us less high techy. Give me easier anytime! I'd highly recommend!

Instructions and video helped with installation which was straightforward and completed in minutes. The thermostat works great and has features such as auto switch over from heat to AC which I didn't know about when I bought it. It was easy to link up to my phone and home computer. I can control my HVAC from anywhere now!

Bought this to upgrade from the standard thermostat home builders install. No real complaints with it as it works well and can be adjusted from you phone. You can also lock the screen so no one can adjust the temperature. The only drawback I've found is there is no auto switch between heat and cool. Or I haven't found it at least.

This thermostat is terrific. If you want a nice looking, accurate thermostat that does it's job, this is for you. Easy to set up and has a nice app to use while you're away. This doesn't have all the bells and whistles of a Nest but it's almost half the cost.

I was having an air conditioner installed and thought I would replace the thermostat with a 'smart' one and looked at Nest. As I was getting bids for the AC, every company said they didn't recommend Nest, but Honeywell because of reliability. I researched on the different Honeywell thermostats and settled on this one as it had the features that I would use. Install was easy as I had the C wire and connecting to WiFi was painless. The functionality is good and the app/website is solid that provides you to most options, but there are some options you can only set on the thermostat. The one thing I had to get use to as the thermostat 'learns' how long it takes to get to the desired temp at the time you program so the furnace may come on at 5:15am to achieve the desired temp at 6am. In most cases, it only takes 15 minutes to reach the temp, but over time it will eventually get closer to 6am. You have the option to turn off this functionality which is nice. Overall, it's a great thermostat and allows you the level of control that each person desires.

I have been wanting a thermostat I could control not only from the panel but from an app and researched many good options. I finally purchased this and am so happy with the purchase. It was fairly easy to install (except my old thermostat didn't use the "C" wire) this was the only hiccup...I had the "C" wire but it wasn't connected to the furnace/ac, but at least it was there. A neighbor was able to make that final connection for me (I had everything else connected without issue). I did watch a you tube video before I started and that helped me enough. Be SURE to take a picture of your current configuration before you remove the wires from your current thermostat...that will make the installation easy using the quick start guide. I'm a 60 year old lady with no electrician background. This thermostat is so easy to set up and make changes to your settings...I love it so far! We had a power outage the evening after installation. I was able to keep track of the temperature from work and knew when the electricity came back on.

It is easy to use and the mobile app works well. The color is nice and the contrast is good, but it has a couple issues. First, its horribly inaccurate on temperature and humidity. I have amassed a small army of temp and humidity gauges in an attempt to see what it “really” is in here. The consensus is that this thing is 4-6 degrees off and with no way to calibrate it, its not useful. The old unit was also a honeywell and it was fine. So, for now we have to keep it at 74 to keep a steady 69-70 in here. Beyond that is the app. It’s fine, but why on earth do you need to set up an account and give them your data to control your thermostat? That’s ridiculous.

I have moved and had an earlier version of this thermostat at the old house and decided to just leave it there and buy a new one thinking that it should function as well as if not better than the old one. It is easy to use and the display is sharp and menus are well placed.

Replaced another thermostat that wasn’t connecting to our wifi. This one works geart and much easier to use.

East to use! App is awesome to adjust the temp in the house or keep meddling children from making the house feel like Alaska while keeping the electric bill way up on the way. Lie in bed and adjust to warmer or cooler all from your phone!

The unit is fairly easy to install and was replacing a Honeywell radiostat unit that no longer had app service. Sadly the app for this new unit is terrible compared to what I had before. The options are very very limited and it does no temp or usage tracking. Other than a decent screen it’s a big let down.

Awresome stat.... easy to install, simple setup, fast wifi connection. I work away from home and its a GREAT feature to check on the house while I'm away. Also can control temp control remotely (just in case the kids want to overcool their jets!)

I'm loving my new thermostat. It has wonderful features you can use from your fingertips which makes it so much easier to navigate.

Easy replacement for my older thermostat. Make sure you check the wiring requirements. It allows me to check on my house temperature when away, easy install, easy setup.

Thermostat works as it should. Several different backdrop color options to match interior paint, and decor. Big upgrade in appearance from the 15 year old Carrier thermostat that was replaced. Love the weekly schedule you can set! Install was very easy.

The thermostat was nice and was a perfect replacement for my malfunctioning one.

This is a great product. Very easy to use. Love how I can change the face color to match my color scheme. Make sure you download the app. I can set my heat before I get home andmy house is nice and watm.

Know what you're getting into. Installation was fairly easy, but it would keep resetting during the heat cycle. It appears that my furnace might not have been sending consistent 24v - this was fixed by using an external power supply. I like that you can change the display color. It's on backlight the whole time - something to be aware of but it doesn't bother me(actually prefer it). I also like that it displays the humidity both inside and out(with outside temp gotten from the Interwebs). It's great that it displays the forecast as well, but that function is so hidden that it's not useful. Integrates with both Alexa and Google, which is good because the app/web site is not a great interface. Is it worth it? I got it for $50 after my energy providers rebate and I think it's worth the price I paid. I don't know that I would pay more than $100 with lots of great options right around that range.
