It was easy to install, we had a c wire already, all we had to do was hook it up to get it to work. Only reason why I didn’t give it 5 stars is because I expected it to be more I guess *modern* in regards to touchscreen. The touchscreen is bad,it feels like using an old Touch screen phone, like first generation touch screen. It’s hard to press on the screen, u have to almost use your nails, I was expecting a smoother screen and touch. Size is pretty small, I don’t know why I thought it was bigger for some reason. Also the app is pretty outdated looking, but it has everything that we need. Just basic. Overall good product, I’m able to control it on my phone, that’s all I wanted. Also was able to get the rebate through Pepco, so I got at the end I got it for a good price.

What a great thermostat and value for my money! I'm a Google girl, but I couldn't justify the extra expense for a NEST thermostat when this Honeywell does everything I need. It works with my Google assistant and since it is wi-fi, I can control it from anywhere. It's fun that the back light can be different colors. I recently got a new HVAC system with a zone system and I bought this same thermostat for my Zone 2. That happens to be in my large master and office area. The only con is I wish the backlight had a dimmer so I could turn the backlight off at night. It adds ambient light in my bedroom that I don't need. I placed it strategically, but I can still see the light from it. Other than that, I LOVE it!

Hard to give a fair review. It needs to specified that it may require rewiring at the furnace or may be incompatible. It's nice otherwise.

I got it, in excellent condition. This thermostat was easy to set up and get online. However the cell phone app is very limited. Temp up or down. I can't tell if it's running from the app? It does work Alexa.

Great price and great product. Worked really well, only complaint would be how far off the wall it sits. I feel like it could have been a little more low profile, but it doesn't bother me. It looks really good and works as advertised.

I was leaning towards the Nest Thermostat for its aesthetics, but my A/C specialist recommended this one. My house has dual heating and air conditioning systems, requiring two thermostats. He said that Honeywell, which has been in this business for decades, makes the most reliable smart thermostats available. It supports all of the smart features one could want and would expect. It also lays flatter against the wall than the Nest, and the screen color can be completely turned off when not in use or adjusted to complement the color of the paint on the wall. One can easily fine-tune settings to maximize comfort and minimize heating/cooling costs.

Simple, smart and easy to install and use. The color screen is easy to read and has all the necessary information that you would want. The remote app allows you to change and program from any computer or mobile device and works flawlessly without the need of any additional hubs or monthly fees.

Love, love, love being able to change my thermostat from ANYWHERE!!

Easy install. Works great when I want to adjust the temp when I am not in the house.

It's not perfect, but it's better than what I had before, which is to say, it's better than adjusting everything manually. I have been able to do a lot of things that people say can't be done. Maybe they have improved it: * I can query the temperature by saying, "Alexa or Hey Google, what's the temperature inside?" * For the current temperature setting, I can say, "Alexa or Hey Google, what's the thermostat set to?" (that is not the name of the device, just "the thermostat") * If you are running a schedule, you can temporarily change the setting by saying "Alexa or Hey Google , change the temperature to [number]." It takes a couple of seconds before the setting actually changes, and it is in temporary hold mode so it will go back to the schedule when the next scheduled change occurs. If you are not on a schedule, this is a permanent change to the Hold setting until you change it again. Very pleased with this product.

The honeywell home smart color thermostat with wi-fi was a great purchase! Easy to install, easy to use , with so many functions! Well worth it, plus we purchased it on sale so it was a win win!

Excellent device. It works well from my phone and the Alexa App. Very easy to install and I can heat my house before I come home from work. Highly recommend this thermostat and its very affordable too!

A pretty good thermostat for most regions....for the Texas gulf coast, it's average. Those who have never lived along the gulf coast don't understand how temperature variation in a single day can be 30-50 degrees difference....sometimes in a single hour and you never know from day to day whether it will be hot and humid or cold and dry or any combination. Fortunately, the app that controls it is pretty handy to be able to change it without having to get up to do so. The screen and it's colors are....so so, but, an interesting concept. I'm considering buying a second one for upstairs....mainly because my step-son can't be trusted with a thermostat so it's just easier than climbing the stairs to change it to a reasonable temperature rather than arctic winter or mercurian summer.

We upgraded from an old mercury thermostat to this nothing fancy but the fact that it is LED screen and connect to WiFi to your phone is all we wanted an does everything you need your thermostat to do so great for its size and job

We replaced a very dumb "smart" thermostat with this one and it's a huge difference. We have a large two story house and the only way to keep temperatures even is with the circulate function. Now, instead of the upstairs being 8-10 degrees warmer in the winter the temperature difference is about 1 degree consistently. It's a huge comfort difference. It's a great upgrade. It's easy to install - please reference your wiring needs prior to purchase. It even fit over the holes from the previous thermostat's backplate - luck. It is very easy to set up, connect to wifi, and program via the mobile app or a web browser. The feature set and program modes are great. The ability to change the screen color scheme (even custom colors) is a nice bonus touch.
