The big question regarding the C wire was answered quickly after I searched for it on YouTube. I found the wire curled around the wires inside the wall and so I just had to connect it to the heater and thermostat and I was good to go. The wifi setup was the only difficult task in the installation, it couldn't find my network even though the router was 2 feet away. After resetting the router several times it finally made the connection. Once connected I installed the app and completed the setup. I setup notifications to alert me via email when certain conditions occur, ie., when the temperature exceeds (colder or hotter) a set threshold; when my internet connection drops, etc. My only complaint is the outdoor temperature setting, it's always off by 3-5 degrees.

This thermostat is easy to use and has an attractive face. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars is the lack of options on the App itself. I wish it would allow more scheduling slots, and temporary setting options. Otherwise, it's a decent thermostat.

Just what I need. A thermostat I can control remotely and not try to analyze my non-existent routine and adapt. Only complaint is that the screen is quite small and screen is not that responsive.

It is easy to install and easy to handle. It is the perfect compromise between using a schedule and adapting the setup at the moment, either in-house or remotely.

We purchased the Honeywell thermostat to install in our second home. The directions were clearly written and illustrated. I had to connect a “C” wire to the furnace control panel but since an extra wire was included in the cable to the thermostat installation was very easy(less than 30 minutes). Setting up the thermostat was quick and easy as was downloading the app which allows remote monitoring and control of the HVAC system. Since our home is in a cold climate location we were able to monitor the temperature from anywhere, anytime and begin warming the inside temperature when in route during the winter months. Knowing that the house is warm and not being concerned about freezing pipes is is nice. This has been a great purchase.

Nice easy to install . Works great. No complains so far.

Purchased 1 & went back & got another as we have a 2 storey house. Was installed in around 30 mins as we had all the wires. Temp seems to be holding the correct temp as we have a temp gauge for inside & outside & readings are the same as the thermostat. Was away from the house (300 miles) & was able to change the temp very easily. Do like modern look & function of changing the color of the screen to match the wall. Has a lock function whereby you can set parameters of low & high temps so other people can adjust the temp but only within the parameters of what you set, this can only be done manually and not through the wifi app. Have had a couple of power surges & it took the system 5 mins to reset & function as normal. Overall I would highly recommend this to anyone.

A thermostat that is simple to use and install. It is good looking and colors can be changed. It can be controlled from anywhere a Wi-Fi is available.

I like the easy to read information display and it is connected to my smart home system. The only problem that I had is replace the old with the new. The old had 4 wires and the new had 5. Not even.

Easy to install, works great. The color display can be configured to match your decor.

Wiring a little complicated to figure out. Blew fuse and had to call a contractor to complete installation. Otherwise, product works well and is easy to operate and connect to WiFi/app.

We needed to update our Honeywell panel and this one is highly recommended. Install within 10 mins and it is good to go. Buying a 2nd one for downstairs.

The device is great. Love being able to control by voice or remotely via phone, setting a schedule, easy-to-read display, customizable display to match/complement the wall it's on. All the way around, so glad I finally got around to this smart home upgrade. However... installation. Ugh. The whole C-wire thing was a mess. I tried to do it myself but realize it was out of my wheelhouse. Eventually had to have someone come in who knew what he was doing, and that took some crawling around in the bowels of the HVAC unit. It was a headache, but definitely worth it. If wiring isn't your thing, be prepared to get some help.

Setting it up was a breeze, and the smart features are fantastic. Navigating apps and streaming services is seamless, and I appreciate how easy it is to access my favorite content.

A very easy to use smart thermostat. It’s nice to be able to adjust temperature remotely. Hardest part of installation was not having a “c” wire but I bought a $25 transformer and plugged it in at a nearby outlet.

Replaced an older Honeywell thermostat. This one is easier to use as opposed to teh one that came with the house. Make sure you read the instructions or watch videos on the install. It is fairly straight forward to install but the wiring may be a little tricky depending on what kind of furnace you have. Again, make sure you know what type of setup you have but otherwise, its a nice thermostat and easily to set up.

I love the display on this screen. I can see the numbers from across the room. Also since the device is Wi-Fi enabled, I can connect it to my Wi-Fi and control it through my compatible Alexa devices. Or I can use the app on my phone to control the temperature settings. The fact that you can change the screen colors is a plus. I prefer the dark blue screen. I don't have to strain my eyes to see the temperature settings or to set the temperature on the device. It is easy to operate. This thermostat was professionally installed. I'm loving it.
