love it change change the color any time ...and the app on the phone you can awlays chang the temp before getting home ...then there the alrets you can get

This makes my fourth thermostat like this, not because they are no good but because I like them so much I have replaced all thermostats in my home with these. The ease of use is amazing and being able to program and control the unit from my smart phone is great. This is the newest version and the improvements are great.

Easy to read and make changes. Allows me to set limits and create a parcial or full lock of settings with passcode. Online app all me to monitor and to make changes if not fully locked. Smaller than what appears on the box.

So far so good. Works well. Easy to use. I would buy again.

Installing this thermostat wasn't as intimidating as it sounds. Fortunately, I had the "c" wire so all was good. Took me about an hour to install and set up. I didn't understand the question it asked when setting up the type of furnace I had. It asked questions about what type of wires were connected, etc. So, the furnace did not come on as expected. Once I figured that out, all was good. It was also easy to set up on Google Assistant so I can control my thermostat via the phone app or my Google Home. The "smart" technology works pretty good too. I had scheduled the heat to come up at 7am each morning. The first morning, the heat turned on right at 7am and it took an hour and a half for the house to warm up from 65 to 72. The next morning, the thermostat turned the heat on about 6am and the house was at 72 degrees by 7:30. The third morning, I'm not sure when the heat turned on, but I heard the furnace shut off at exactly 7am and the house was at 72 degrees. Not bad! Overall, I'm very pleased with its features and how quickly it adapted to getting the house warmed up by the time we are out of bed.

I've been waiting to purchase one of these smart thermostats. My husband doesn't like messing with the thermostat. The App gives me full control from my fingertips! I can cool or warm the house up before I get home from work or anytime during the day.

Very nice, feature rich, easy to use thermostat. Only issue is frequent disruptions of WiFi connectivity. Usually associated with Honeywell app and or server However it does what it should just frustrating when I try to adjust settings via Alexa and get the “thermostat not responding” message

User friendly thermostat, provides the chance to control your ac/heat at your fingertips with your smartphone. I recommend if you need something simple, easy to set up and control the settings either from home or wherever you are.

I easily manage the thermostat settings using my iphone and usually use my ipad to establish the initial program schedule. I like the ability to adjust the screen brightness and color. Also, I find the indoor humidity display to be very helpful as it helps me to manage my humidifier settings. I use the Residio/Honeywell app, which is free, to control both of the thermostats I own and have used this app to control the thermostat in another home in another state. These are great thermostats which can handle two-stage heating and cooling units and the Honeywell app, which is free, is also very easy to setup and uses. I do not have the need for any geofencing function and this unit does not have that capability. My schedule is pretty standard. You can program a different schedule for every day of the week which is handy. Since you can access the thermostat remotely, it's easy to adjust the temp if you deviate from your normal schedule and need to change settings.

The thermostat works great, easy to setup and understand

I had my installer call the the support line to see if the stat could be powered by the c wire from the heating system. I have a older house, so I paid a electrician to run a 24volt common wire from my heating system. The Honeywell support said it was not a problem. After installing the stat was not getting any power. Called support again, 24volt HAS to come from ac unit. So I had to pay installer again to run another c wire. Purchased this item on sale for 139.99 and spent $300 to run 2 common wires, one of which is wasted , due to wrong info given by Honeywell. Thermostat 5 star , Honeywell support 1 star!

Quick to load and diagnose. Wi-Fi is great for adjusting and setting remote. App back up is great. I love these I have 5 of them. In my properties.

Once installed, it works easily. Easy to set up with a smartphone. Nice to come home to a house that is the correct temperature.

Purchased this to replace basic honeywell thermostat. Was looking at the Nest too but decided to stick with the OG thermostat brand. This thermostat does what it is supposed to, it is touch screen and allows you to set a program and different temps for different days. It is backlight, the app is easy and basic. You can set the color of the face of thermostat however i dislike that you cannot adjust the brightness of the screen and it never dims down. It lights up the hall pretty well, one of the reasons i will be exchanging. It does not provide any insight to the use of the furnace. I will be exchanging as its literally the same as previous thermostat plus the wifi connectivity and touch screen. If you’re looking foe a really basic thermostat that you can use an app with, this is your go to. If you want anything more out of your smart thermostat i suggest looking elsewhere

Bought this for the house when our cheap one died. Little complicated to install if you don't have the exact wiring as the example in the booklet/online. However, I managed to get it done. To this day, I still haven't been able to connect it online, even though it is connected to my network. The email from Honeywell NEVER came even when I kept clicking RESEND. I basically gave up on that. Do I really need that? Not really. This unit works really well. My old thermostat would kick on and blow really hot air & then shut down when the house was at temp. This unit seems to turn on and blow the exact temp I just set it too, making the boiler run more efficiently and less often. The UI is pretty good. Easy to set and adjust. You can even set a password to keep the kids from playing with it or accidentally turning it up. Not that that is very likely to happen due to the 2 steps needed to actually make a change. Well worth the money. Really good deal.

This Honeywell Smart Thermostat is amazing!! Do the same as the expensive ones, including control it from your phone!!! You can change the color of the screen and program it for everything.The cost is almost have the price of the others, and Honeywell is a great brand.... GREAT VALUE FOR YOUR MONEY

I didn’t pay attention to the size of it nor do I know if the measurements are listed in the description but it was smaller than I expected haha. I had to return it as it wasn’t compatible with my home but the set up was easy and I would have kept it if it worked out for me.
