This is my second Honeywell WiFi thermostat along with the 9000 which is about 1.5 years old. I haven’t had any issues with either unit so far. Installation is fairly easy if you have a c wire available. Programming is simple and it works well with Amazon Alexa and the app is very user friendly.

Great unit by a well known brand at an affordable price. Sure, the companion app could use a little update, but it works with Alexa and you can control the heat and cooling in your house while you are away. Having a current outdoor temperature reading is a nice touch and the color schemes are customizable to match your wall color (or, contrast it, who’s to judge?) What more could you want from a thermostat? Just remember that since it’s a smart thermostat you need a C wire (or, figure out a way to sacrifice some functionality of your heating/cooling system to power the unit, or, call an electrician for install), but if you’re in the market for a smart thermostat you probably have that part covered already.

The installation was much more difficult than it should have been. The thermostat I was replacing was an older Honeywell model with no wifi connectivity. The wiring should have transferred EXACTLY as it existed on the original thermostat to the new thermostat. So, installation is not for the faint of heart. Otherwise, I like the thermostat and the fact that it integrates with Alexa. My one issue with the connectivity is that the only item which can be adjusted through Alexa is the temperature. You cannot change the mode (heat to AC and back) and you cannot adjust the fan from automatice to on all of the time.

Thermostat was easy to hook up even if you know nothing about electrical. Once you download the app it is so easy to understand and set up times and days when it comes on and or temperatures if that's what you prefer. You can control your thermostat from anywhere anytime from your phone.

I have two these. They work great with Alexa. Also the phone app is flawless. It is nice to be able to turn the heat up at my lakehome from my phone prior to driving there. Installation was easy and straight forward.

Had this thermostat installed and it works great! Love the fact I can use an app to keep a check on the temp in my house and control the thermostat.

We had this thermostat in another home and it worked so well we bought the same for our new place. It’s inconspicuous with the ability to change screen colors so it blends in. Very easy to read and use. It also has an app for changes from a remote location.

Works great. Had to have it professionally installed. It’s easy to program but after 3 months I got a message that the sensor was broken and I would need to replace the whole thing. I don’t know what this was because it went away the next day

easy to install and set up. my furnace did not have the common wire connected so i had to connect it. app is easy to install, set up and use. i was a little skeptical after reading some of the reviews.

The unit has been installed for about a month now. super easy installation and app download for my android. I have used it on local control and from a remote internet access. no problems, the programing was easy enough for a newbie but a geek will like it also.

Love my new Honeywell Smart Thermostat. Numbers are large enough I can read it from across the room. I also like being able to set schedule with my IPAD. I can also check status when I am away from home.

Product looks nice. Very useful default out of the box. Worse part was the slowness of the website. They need to invest in optimizing its speed. (10 seconds or more to load the pages to get it connected)

So far so good. I replaced this unit with an older Wi-Fi unit. I like the touchscreen. The ease of use and the background color customization. You do need a C wire but if you don’t have one there are instructions on fixing that.

I had a nest and it was feature rich. The display touch setting were not as smooth. I had to switch to this one because of my older furnace and relays.. It does what it needs to and it works well

These are awesome! Came back for another to replace my upstairs thermostat after having this downstairs for a year. LOVE IT!

It works ok smaller than i expected, i should have read description more. Illumination is a little dim.It was easy to install

We turn the heat down when not at our cabin. Now we can turn it up before we get there so it’s warm. Use to be wed have to keep our coats on until it began to heat up. My husband followed the instructions and easily wired it himself. Good purchase.

Great wi-fi thermostat. Does a lot of things that you can pre- set. Expensive, I got mine on discount. Bought 2. Been running for 2 years now.

I bought this thermostat. It works well with my telephone. I can control my heat and air from my phone.
