We got a good price on this unit. But even though it offered a work around for the c wire. It was highly recommended that we didn't go that route. We wound up spending 200 to have a new wiring run. But other than that issue it's working great. Mind you it's only been 2 weeks. But to be able to just ask Alexa to adjust the temperature is worth it!

Honeywell is great in value, easy to set up but returned to the store due to compatibility issues with my furnace. I only have a heating furnace and a 2 wire system which has no common power wire, returned to store to purchase Google Nest learning thermostat which was more money but was a breeze to set up on two wire system.

the original thermostat used 4 conductor wire this requires 5, once i replaced that it worked as expected

I recently moved into a townhouse with multiple levels and each floor has a vast difference in temperature. However, the original thermostat was on the top floor, and anytime I needed to adjust the temperature for where I was in the unit, I had to trudge up and down multiple staircases in order to do so. Having an app where I can adjust the thermostat over my phone has made this so much easier. I would definitely recommend.
