This product is fantastic and useful and fun in all respects except one: it does not shift mode automatically. That is, if you program it to automatically keep the temp at 72, it will not shift from heat to a/c as needed. HOWEVER, I now find Honeywell makes a model that does! Wish I had ordered that one, but I didn’t know.

When comparing to the nest, it would be the the cheapest one as far as price goes. But the options on this Honeywell keeps up with the $300+ Nest! I like how it displays more at once, and is slimmer next to the wall

The smart color thermostat is simply awesome because we can choose the color and the temperature its auto change. It works with the Google assistant and works with Alexa.

It does what i need it to do for the most part. It resets and flushes alot

Tried to hook this up and the C wire connection was an issue. I was hoping it would be the same backing as my existing Honeywell but since this model doesn't take batteries you will need to change the backing plate and have an extra wire for the C connection. The instructions say if you don't have an extra wire you can connect the green wire to the C connection and use a jumper for the yellow and green connector but they don't provide a jumper. I will need to call the manufacturer to see how to resolve this issue. I tried the blue, black, orange and brown extra wires to connect to the C connection but nothing worked.

Couldn’t get it work ended up returning it.. looked nice wish I could get it connected maybe due to me not having c wire connection

The thermostat works well and looks nice on the wall. Programming the thermostat was no problem. Keeps heat and air conditioning running efficiently. Wi-Fi has not presented any problems.

Easy and clear instructions for my house. Installed one at my parents as well and they're system was a little bit confusing so we called customer support and they were a great help. After installation, setup was super easy.

Haven’t installed my product yet Best Buy geek squad wasn’t able to install because I see wire wasn’t on the thermostat yet but I look forward to using this product soon thank you Best Buy

it was a great purchase when we went on vacation.being able to turn on the air before we got back.the only thing i dont like is the buttons are sometimes hard to push

Useful device. Better than manual. Save energy. Little difficult to install. I took help from you tube videos and it made installation easy. Now I’m using more than a month and it works perfectly fine.

Very easy to work and gives accurate readings of A/C temperature and what you have it set on. Plus has custom back lighting that matches your decor and wasy controlable with smart phone to adjust temperature when not at home to save money.

This Honeywell will fi thermostat has saved me more than once with its notifications about power outages and rising or lowering temperatures it’s a must if your only at your home seasonal would recommend to anyone much easier to use than nest

This is a great purchase and also qualifies for the wi fi rebursement. From Xcel and are albe to get yearly ac program discount . Also saves on energy.

Didn’t tell how to wire to open cooling vents. Ran on heat no matter how I tried to wire. Talked to a HVAC tech after and he said there is a wiring method for the item to open cooling vent that isn’t in the instructions.

Im very happy with this im avle to control my temperature and let my utility company watch my usage and send me a savings check from a program there doing

Great options and even better if its the same price as the model below it! Be sure and set back light to 0 if in master bedroom or it will keep you up. Would have given more stars but the touchscreen is slow.

We purchased the thermostat to replace an ancient one installed 20 yrs ago. This one is very simple to install and program. It appears to be fine tuning the performance to achieve the desired temp at the time specified.
