    I cannot get it to sync with my google home device.... no matter what I do.... It just won't. And I'm an IT guy.

    Backend Servers are spotty at best

    Goes for long periods of time where it can't seem to connect to servers for remote functionality. Internet tests are fine and the router can communicate with the thermostat fine so it's clearly on the backend. Honeywell knows this is an issue but gives generic responses. I quick look at the reviews on the internet says this isn't isolated. If you want remote access get a different brand. Should have returned it when i had the chance.

    Smart word is misleading for this thermostat

    The smart thermostat is actually not smart , its just that it is connected to wifi. Looks like at the same price google nest provides much better capability. Not happy with the purchase and I was not aware that this is so basic

    This thermostat was bought to replace a similar Honeywell that had stopped connecting to WiFi. I wish I had tried harder to find another version of my old Honeywell, this one is terrible. It too looses connectivity from time to time. The main problem I have is that the touch screen is terrible, I have to tap the same spot 4 - 8 times for the thermostat to register the button push. This makes re-entering my 14+ character WiFi password a nightmare. Even just adjusting the temp is easier for me to pull out my phone and use the app than it is for me to adjust the actual device right in front of me.

    I bought 4 of these Thermostats. The Product works well until it doesn't, it was a 5 star item before one stopped working. The customer service 'policies' that are in place, put burden on the cutomer to do light electrical work for a warranty claim.

    Devices looks decent and you get everything you need to install it. The touchscreen however is terrible. Especially for todays standards. After taking 2 hours to connect it to my network, it only stayed connected for 2 week before it stopped working,

    this works when it wants to. it does a good job at changing temperature from phone. alexa works good with it, google not so much.. a couple weeks after I bought it there was a error message about a faulty thermostat sensor, . I tried to contact support and never got help.

    According to my installer, I was told that this thermostat was not capable to my Heating/ air conditioning unit.

    I am having a horrible time getting my rebate offer. I was told I only get the offer on one instead of both that I purchased. Don't offer if the offer is not available.
