Awesome wifi thermostat. It’s so easy to use and I can set my thermostat from my phone!!!! Plus it has so many extra features.

I use this in my aircraft hangar. several of my friends also use it as a work space. I can check if someone did not turn off the heat and if not, I can shut it off over the internet. Propane is a little pricey. Made up the cost of the unit the first month. Use a computer to set up the days and times / temperatures. then use a smart phone app for checking usage..... BEST BUY - LOWES - BH PHOTO all put this unit on sale periodically.

It's nice to have the ability to change your house temperature without being there. I know you can preset your schedule ahead time, but I'm talking about the surprises we all get from time to time, example,forgetting to make the schedule changes for vacations or change in weather. Having the convenience of changing the house setting in the palm of my hands is priceless/money saving to say the least! Those of you that are on the go like me, trying to get the most out of a day, will love having this thermostat. I would highly recommend this item.

Got a new AC and furnace installed and wanted to upgrade our thermostat as well. Really happy we went with this Honeywell! There is great connectivity - wifi, Alexa, app control - and plenty of features. Was initially surprised how small it was when I opened the box, but the screen is still plenty big and easy to control. It's nice that you can customize the background color of the screen to make it match its surroundings a bit better. There's nothing we don't like about it yet!

Works great. Easy to use so far and no problems. Much better than our prior thermostat. Great purchase.

Setting it up was a breeze, and the smart features are fantastic. Navigating apps and streaming services is seamless, and I appreciate how easy it is to access my favorite content.

It is easy to install and easy to handle. It is the perfect compromise between using a schedule and adapting the setup at the moment, either in-house or remotely.

Easy set up, simple to install and works great. I was surprise how easy it was to set up for the furnace.

I like the display and appreciate the extra information it displays when compared to other smart thermostats. I was unaware that this required a fifth wire, "C" wire. I did not have a fifth wire, and I felt jumping the 24v could result in potential sacrifice of functionality so I chose to run a new 18/5 cable. Installation and set up was easy. I downloaded the app and connected it to Google home, which was also easy. I purchased the item while on sale and used the comed rebate. Win win.

Installed in about 10 minutes. Instructions were clear. Downloaded the app, connected to Smarthings and Alexa within 5 Minutes, works great!

This thermostat is a great value for what it is, programmable, with remote access. It looks great, easy to install, and compatible with Google home. The mobile app lets me make changes when I'm away from the house. However all of those features do not make it smart. There's no features to learn your travel patterns or proximity sensors to know when you're in the room. You could possibly create routines with google home, or IFTTT. So as long as you understand what it does compared to the competition you'll be very happy with it.

With being out of town so often, we needed to be able to adjust our home temperatures (both heat and A/C) when not at home. The Honeywell was easy to install, has a large display, ability to dim the backlight, and most importantly WiFi capability. We can now leave for weeks and not pay for extra heat or A/C and adjust as needed. It has a schedule, but I like to be able to adjust if temperatures get extreme while out of town. Highly recommend. We have 2–one upstairs and one downstairs. (This was our second purchase—purchased for downstairs Fall 2018).

This thermostat was easy to install and operate. User errors are also quickly mitigated by Honeywell.

I am sure this thermostat is great, but I couldn’t use it and had to return it because my current thermostat has only 4 wires and this new one needs 5. While it states this in very small print on the back of the box, it would have been great if it stated this in the description so I would not have purchased this in the first place. I did find that there is a work around, but it is more complicated than my need to have a thermostat that can be controlled via WiFi remotely.

I went with the Honeywell as they have been making great thermostats for years. I considered getting one of the nests, ecobee, etc but didn't really want to go down the whole super connected to everything route as wasn't really needed. No issues, works great, accurate, programmable, customizable colors. Don't need much more than that.

Way better than Nest. Big, bright display, more details on display and on app than with the Nest. After about a year the Nest started having WiFi connection issues, which also happened to our friend’s unit. Honeywell came highly recommended by the company that replaced our heating and air conditioning units. With sale going on at Best Buy and the rebate from our utility company, this was extremely reasonably priced. Very happy with purchase!

Love this product. Installed it over the weekend and love the functionality of it. If you don't have the c wire you will need to get the adapter but it is definitely worth it. I had a programmable thermostat but was having issues with it. I'd been wanting to upgrade to a wifi unit so I can just control it while I am away and have the house be comfortable when I am home or set the time using alexa. This unit is perfect for what I needed.
