Very very deep ability to manage and program your thermostat; from the touch pad or (if you choose) from anywhere in the world with an Internet connection. There is a learning curve by read the directions and take your time and you will do just fine. We are considering adding to my Mom's house so we can make sure the summer temps won't cause health issues.

I really like being able to control it when I am away and set it when I return and have the right temp in the house.

My main reason for getting this thermostat was so that my wife could turn it up and down using voice commands via Google. Unfortunately, it’s just not that simple. Instead of being controlled directly by Google, you need to go through a web interface system called ITTT. I’ve been a tech support person for the last 40 years, so I don’t mind getting a little bit into the weeds, but I would not recommend this solution for anybody who is a bit tech shy.

It's easy to set up and use. But it only works with my previous Linksys router. I cannot connect it to my new Netgear AC2600 router.
