Lasted 4 months to the day

Purchased thermostat to upgrade old 3M thermostat that was beginning to short cycle. Honeywell was on sale, had some slick features and looked nice. Woke up this morning to a black screen and a 48F house with an ambient outside temp of 36F. No problem, I'll just run to best buy and exchange, right? Best buy said no returns after 15 days and 47 minutes with honeywell brought me no closer to closure. I'm afraid I'm going to get stuck buying another one (not honeywell or from best buy) 4 months later. Ticked off is an understatement. If it were still winter in Montana I would've had to buy one today. Buy any other brand, from any other store, it can't possibly be any worse.
