This vacuum did not last long. The roller would stick even after cleaning, and shut the entire vacuum down.

Got my vacuum today. It has been charging for over 12 hours and nothing is happening. NOTHING!Called the manufacturer and the customer service representative advised maybe it needs 24 hours. Why would a brand new product need that long to charge. Frankly I am going to see and if it doesn’t charge I’m demanding a new one. Will be happy to repost if I am wrong. But right now I am not happy.

I bought this for my daughter's birthday, she used once, battery did not last very long and she no longer wanted

We have replaced the battery twice. We are going to try for a third time. The vacuum works great as long as the battery works. It is simple and convenient. Our problem with that battery is that after you charge it, it only works for 5 minutes. It worked great with each new battery, but they slowly get worse each time.

Return, for two reasons, too heavy for a quick pick up and it will not stand up, must be hung in the provided bracket attached to the wall. I place all cleaning items in a closet and the closet does not have an electric outlet and i do not want it hanging on any wall including the laundry room.

I had to buy another one as I was not happy with the product

Not good for an older person because it's hard to handle it wihile vacuuming a rug.

I purchased this with the primary intension to use on my car, but the wand and nozzle is too long and too big for that. And without the wand, it is too short with other attachments. Wish it has a shorter wand for the job. Also, the cost of a replacement battery is way too high, almost as high as the vacuum itself. If someday you need to replace the battery, it is better to replace the vacuum.

Received this vacuum from Best Buy yesterday. I charged it and vacuumed several rooms in my house (both hardwood and carpet). I have a dog so regular vacuuming is essential. I purchased this since it will make it easy to go from room to room without dragging a cord around. This vacuum is very light and has excellent suction. I can't imagine anymore suction from a cordless vac. I must say, I am very impressed. On short carpet/rugs it is excellent. On hardwoods, (after turning off the beater bar) it did fine. The only negative here is that the vac head is a little rough on the hardwood. I wish that they made a head specifically for hardwoods. It seems to run for quite a long time on a charge. The additional accessories are nice and will make vacuuming furniture, ceiling fans, and stairs very easy. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase especially when you compare the price to the very, very similar Dyson.

I purchased this unit like in July 2017 and the unit broke as of Oct 2017. When i say broke meaning it still runs, but anything that it picks up it drops down back on the ground when you are vacuuming, as you turn it off, everything you sucked up gets dropped on to the ground. It was great when it was working. Stopped using this vacuum, when it started having issue. I have already cleaned, it removed any debris from stick, from the canister and washed the filter out. Not worth buy. Sorry Hoover but this is inferior product compared to my old first iteration of the Dyson stick vacuum. Still working great after many years of use.

First, I wanna make my level of 'expertise' clear: I've cleaned professionally for 20+ years (Daycares, law offices, bars), I have two teenage son and a messy husband. I'm very familiar with a vacuum. My husband bought this vacuum for the stairs on our new home. 1) I have a GREAT dislike for the new "Lithium Battery" crazy. First off, they are not as 'Green' as the hype tries to get people to believe. I highly suggest everyone read up on it. But the bottomline is Lithium must be mined and mining isn't something known for being 'Green'. My other issue with lithium batteries is you can not leave the appliance on the charger. While this may not be a big deal with power tools it's a very bad idea with things like a vacuum used more in emergency cleaning situations. Meaning, while you can plan ahead to make sure your power drill is charged before you use it on a big project, you can't plan ahead to clean up a coffee grounds, kitty litter or toddler related mess. 2) The 'dirt cup' is very, very small. 3) When you push the power on, there is a delay. The suction has to build up for a moment. Miss the days you could just pull a dustbuster off the wall, it work immediately and you hang it back on the charger. As for the stairs, I'm sticking to using a broom. It's more efficient and can be bought for much better price.

Just purchased this vaccum the other day. It was delivered quickly which I was pleased with. I put it together and charged it like the instructions said. It took about 6 hours for it to charge yesterday. I just used it for the first time today and it picks up dirt and debri very well. Works better than $20 vaccums I’ve been buying. The only down side is that the battery doesn't last very long and takes a long time to charge.

I purchased this several months ago and it is completely useless now. I used lightly and infrequently and performed the general upkeep as needed. The brush roll stopped working first. I brought it to a Hoover authorized repair facility that blamed the dust blocking the filter. I cleaned the filter which is washable according to the instructions. When I plugged the unit in the battery failed after charging several hours and the green light immediately turned red. Once again I got in touch with Hoover and they said I needed to do a battery reset. I tried it and the unit still won't work. Hoover will not refund the product and they don't stand by the garbage they sell. I will not purchase anything from them in the future.

Worked acceptably for the price for a few months - the suction was not what we were hoping, but we managed because of the price. Now, 6 months in it hardly works at all and my husband has been diligent about cleaning it out, etc. We are now looking at the Dyson sticks and wish we had just done so in the beginning. Very disappointed. Just invest in the better product from the beginning.

Every time I pushed this thing to move it forward, it would pivot and head off in either the left or right direction, neither of which did I want to travel. I spent most of my time reversing and pushing forward again trying to get it to cooperate. The design idea of it pivoting to make turns is a great one. It having a mind of its own is a bad one. It literally quadrupled the time it was going to take to vacuum my home.

It was on sale. Worked fine in beginning. Now about 5 months later does not pick up. Whatever it does pick up when you shut it off all the picked up stuff falls back down. cleaned filters, etc. Still does same thing. It simply does not work as a vacuum

It gets stuck in carpet and wood. Suction problems

Did not work after using it a couple times and customer service has not been helpful. I have been shipped 2 parts that do not fix the problem, and it takes a week each time I call to receive the part.

Purchased new a couple of weeks ago, charged it and it only runs for about 6 seconds before cutting out, very unhappy about this product a waste of money

This vacuum worked flawlessly once, after the second charge it powered itself off whenever the spin brush feature was turned on.
