I have gotten several new vacuums over the last year or so, but this is my first cordless one. Upon unboxing, I was happy to see the build quality seemed very good, and the wide range of attachments included was a great addition. The attachments are a little hard to detach, but I’m sure they will loosen up over time. The rechargeable battery is a great feature – it is great to be able to do a staircase without worrying about the cord! One downside I noticed is that the suction power does not seem as strong as the Dyson and Sark vacuums I have been using regularly. I wouldn’t recommend this for heavy duty carpet cleaning, but it really excels at hardwood floors covered in dog hair! Another nice feature is that Dyson attachments fit this Hoover. I was able to use a Dyson rotating upholstery brush to clean the dog hair out of my car without hassling with a cord. For the money this is a well-built and versatile cordless vacuum, and it ships with a great variety of attachments.

My wife takes this everywhere. She loves it. She leaves me home.

Love this vacuum even took the attachment on vacation.

This is not a good product. It is clunky to use and does not have good suction.

Performance as a Vacuum ----------------------------------- I had a electrolux cordless vacuum which i had paid about $100 bucks a few years back and back then there were not a lot of cordless vacuums in the market and the one that i got sucked, literally. it would not hold charge and did not have much power to pick up cereals from the floor but things have changed since then. Nowedays they make cordless vacuums which are very powerful and this one is infact powerful and it lasts 25 minutes on full charge.The suction power is superb and consistent.The vacuum also pivots, you can reach those underside areas that you couldn't do with a corded vacuum. But there are some compromises when going cordless. This particular vacuum is not free standing but it does come with a stand using which you can hook it up to a wall in your laundry room. One thing that makes this model different from their normal FUSION model is the pet attachment. i do not have pets so i cannot comment on how this attachment works or how good it is on picking up pet hair. It can also be transformed into a hand-held vacuum which is great for cleaning/vacuuming the car. I like it, the only question is will the battery hold up charge 1-2 years down the line, time will tell.

This vacuum has never worked correctly. It’s worthless on carpet, the switch sometimes works, sometime doesn’t. Battery life is not enough to vacuum my 2000 sf home. I waited too long for a refund. Reached out to Hoover and haven’t heard a thing back from them. Don’t waste your money on this one.

this is probably one of the worst products I've ever bought. Its unreliable, the battery sucked, the roller kept getting clogged with dirt, and the tank was tiny. It broke down in 2 months. A month after I bought a $70 bissel half the price and I still have it.

This cordless pet stick vacuum has really made life a lot easier for me when it comes to cleaning up pet hair and dirt. I used to sweep all the pet hair and dirt on the floor so it is definitely a big upgrade. It is very easy to maneuver around the house and is lightweight enough to carry. The different attachments to clean up corners and hard to reach areas really come in handy and are simple enough to take on and off. I have used it a couple of times for my tile and hardwood floors and although I feel the suction isn’t as strong as I had hoped, it does the job well and my floors are left pet hair free. I liked that it displays how much battery is left and after a couple of quick uses the battery still has about 75 percent left. I’ve only had to remove the dust cup once because it holds a lot of dirt so I don’t have to clean it out that often. After use I can easily hang it up on the wall mount that was provided or place standing up on a corner because it’s very thin and doesn’t take a lot of space. Overall I’m really please with this vacuum and happy I don’t have to go back to sweeping everyday.

Review for Hoover - FUSION Cordless Pet Stick Vacuum - Black/Purple This unit maneuvers well, is easy to handle and with the power head in place, does a decent job on floors and carpets. But the list of drawbacks for it’s other features make it a “no thanks” from me. As noted by many others, the battery is heavy and right in the handle which adds weight, but I didn’t mind that. The fact that you have to remove it to charge it (and that the charger itself is roughly the size of a small toaster!) makes dealing with this large battery even less convenient. The tools that come with it for dust, pet hair, and crevices seem great, and they store neatly too, but again, without the power head, this unit just doesn’t have enough suction to collect things like pet hair and dirt. The unit cannot stand up on its own, so it comes with a handy wall mount to store it and hold the accessories. Once again, this doesn’t make up for the fact that it’s unwieldy to try and empty, to change out accessories, or to clean the filter without balancing the unit, or laying it down on a chair or counter. Overall, I’m disappointed in the design of the unit. It’s hard to change the parts on it. It’s difficult to clean. Although the drop down door for emptying the dust cup is easy and well designed, pet hair sticks in the unit and doesn’t fall out when you open it over the trash. To fully clean it involves removing the dust cup from the unit, washing the air filter (which takes 24 hours to dry) and cleaning out the dust cup. Although the battery lasts almost an hour, without sufficient suction, that’s not much of a plus; I’d rather have more power for less time. I think the design should have started with better goals than just long battery life. Give it more power, make it self-standing. Make the parts easier to change out. Make cleaning it up easier.

Gets clogged if you have a lot of pet hair. Lasted a while but now it doesnt work right.
