This is a really handy tool
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So opening the box and I see a bunch of parts. Where's the manual? Oh so only 3 steps to get this thing working. The packing could have been better, the base is under everything and you have to unpack the box to get it. Once you have it though, it's easy. Insert the tube into the base and the motor head onto the tube....tada! It said the battery needed charged, but I put in on the HUMONGOUS charger and it said fully charged. I was able to try it out out of the box....woohoo. Unlike the charger, this thing is nice and light. It has good suction and worked well on carpet and vinyl flooring. It would be great if it could stand on it's own, but it doesn't nor does the base lock in place. It just dangles if you pick it up, otherwise it leans against a wall or gets hung up on the supplied tool hook. It has battery level indicator and the ability to run it on 3 levels, carpet with brush, hard surface with a brush sensor or no brush spinning. If there's one downside, it's the same as a lot of other vacuums, no place for all the attachments and this thing came with a lot. It would be great to have some on board attachments as well as maybe a caddie to contain all of them. Overall this is a great unit for quick jobs and has enough battery life to do the whole house. I think I'll be using it for quick pick up such as the bathrooms, kitchens and any spills throughout the day.

Perfect Cordless Vacuum + Excellent Pet Owners
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Hoover Fusion Cordless Pet Stick Vacuum is almost perfect. Why almost perfect? The vacuum can be used a portable handheld vacuum for cleaning incidental spills or a proper room vacuum for cleaning a whole room. The battery also lasts long enough to clean a whole room and the floor cleaning attachment is motorized - so it cleans properly. Super impressed. As a cat owner, it had no problem with cat hair. The Hoover Fusion Cordless also comes with a lot of attachments for various crevices, floor types, etc. The only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is it would be great if you could charge this with the battery inside, but you remove the battery to charge it - not a show stopper, as the battery lasts forever and charges fast (so it's a trade off) but otherwise an awesome vacuum and recommended.

A great cordless, hand-held, whole home vacuum
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was pleased with the ease of use and overall performance of the Hoover Fusion cordless vacuum. I decided to really test its mettle and set at cleaning out the cat condo, something this handheld device would be ideal for. I was not disappointed. I emptied the canister three times (it had admittedly been a while apparently) and now plan to do that every time I clean since it will now be a breeze. The machine itself is very intuitive. It provides a clear indication of the battery level and cleaning mode, and the release buttons for the battery and waste container where right where you'd expect them to be. The on demand power trigger feature is great if you want to conserve power or for precision cleaning, or double click to stay on - very simple. The battery is great - I was able to use the device to clean my entire 4-story townhome without recharging. The provided wall mount and separate charging station make it easy to store and keep at the ready. Overall I am very impressed with this device and happily recommend it to anyone looking for a multi-feature handheld vacuum.

Battery life disappointed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After 7 months the battery doesn't fully charge, takes several attempts. Once you do get a charge only lasts 1/4 of what it did originally. Thought of getting a back up battery, but to pay what I paid for the whole vacuum, double hockey sticks no, taking it back!

Not my favorite choice
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have owned this vacuum for a year and it has officially crapped out on me. It is very delicate! Wouldn't be my first choice to recommend. Glad that I bought protection.

Good, not great cordless vacuum
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my third wireless vacuum so I've had a few to compare it to. This unit is packaged good and secure. It feels solid and like a quality product in your hands and when using it. Suction power is average but I had no trouble picking up anything on both carpet and hard wood floors. It makes the transition from each flawlessly. Battery life is quite good and I can make several passes in my smaller house before it needs charging. I always put these type batteries on a timed outlet that cuts off after delivering a six hour charge. I feel like it maintains the batteries better and thus far has worked well for me. The attachments for the unit work well and I haven't experienced any clogging troubles. The unit holds a decent amount and emptying it is easy. My only complaint is the heft of the unit and it is pretty top heavy. But for this performance as this price range it is a good buy. I recommend it.

Waste of money
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was the worst vacuum cleaner I have ever purchased. We bought it to clean small messes and it can't even do that. Everything it "picks up" it spits right out the back. Waste of my money and i DO NOT recommend purchasing this

Wow!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would like to begin by saying I have two (very sheddy) Golden Retrievers so vacuums at my house is always a very needed item. I have gone through canisters, robots, uprights and other stick vacuums. This Hoover keeps up with any Shark or Dyson for a much better price. I can get 900 sq feet of hard wood, a 14*14 shag rug and carpeted stairs to upstairs all on one charge. The speeds/floor type are very easy to use and the beater bar works on my shag rug where others such as Dyson lock up. I love it and I'm glad because I use it a minimum of once a day. The attachments also make it easy to get behind the stove, the refrigerator, furniture, etc. It also replaces my wall mounted vacuum in the garage for my cars. Way better and not much larger than a dust buster for your vehicles. I know I'm being picky but lights on the front would be nice but that would be my only add. Great vacuum, don't spend twice as much on others that do the same thing.

Convenient, Quick, Versatile, Quiet & Light
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A Great Addition To The Hoover Vacuum Family! The Cordless Fusion Pet Is A Very Versatile Vacuum That You Can Use For Not Only Carpeted Floors, But Also For Bare, Wood & Tile Floors As Well With A Simple Touch Control. You Can Also Use This To Vacuum Up High (like ceilings) OR Even As A Handheld Vacuum. It Is Very Simple To Assemble AND Disassemble In Order To Modify It For Your Different Vacuuming Preferences. As A Floor Vacuum, It Has An Easy Swivel Power Head Which Takes Tight Turns With Ease With Just A Slight Turn Of The Wrist. It Also Includes A Crack/Crevice Tool, A Soft Bristle Dusting Brush, A Pet Upholstery Tool. Also The Wall Mount That You Also Store The Tools Onto. The Dashboard Also Has Indicator Lights That Show You Which Type Of Floor Mode You Are Using and Also A Battery Power Level Indicator & Maintenance Indicators For When It Needs Emptied or Develops A Clog. The Trigger To Power The Vacuum Can Simply Be Held To Run The Vacuum OR Press Twice To Keep It On Without Having To Hold It. Then You Simply Press Again To Turn It Off. This Can Be Very Convenient For People That Get Hand Cramps Easily or Have Arthritis or in Certain Situations That You May Need To Hold The Vacuum Differently, Such As With 2 Hands. It Easily Gets Under Beds and Other Furniture and Small Tight Spaces To Get Cleaning of Areas Hard to Normally Access With Other Vacuums. Works Well On Stairs & Furniture & Drapes Too! It Does Have A Lot Of Suction Power and I can Testify That After Vacuuming An Area With My Older Hoover Canister Vac, I Went Over It Again With This Fusion And It Picked Up A Bunch More Dirt. Speaking Of Dirt, The Dirt Cup Does Hold About 50% More Than The Other Cordless Stick Vacs (including the more expensive brands) Dirt Cup Is Also Easy To Dump Directly Into The Trash. The Battery Lasted Me For About 25 Minutes Of Use Which Is Plenty Of Time. I Also Used It As A Handheld To Vacuum Out My Car and That Worked Great With The Provided Tools! One Disappointment I Do Have Is That The Battery Needs To Be Removed For Charging, But The Charger IS Included (But is Not Readily Wall Mountable.) Overall A Great Time Saving Versatile Vacuum That I Am Very Happy To Have, Use and I Am Pleased With The Results Of Its Performance

Fair
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So Iv'e tried a bunch of the stick vac's as of late so Im going to be a little critical in this review. Pro's: I love that it comes with the wall mount The battery life is comparable with other sticks, and the included accessories are well thought out. Con's the design was clearly borrowed and is boring. The actual suction leaves a LOT to be desired. To me Hoover needs to up it's game and get some R&D. Build quality is my biggest issue as the stick feels flimsy and plastic. Overall for a bachelor or bachelorette looking for a quick clean up this will do, however there is nothing that sets this stick apart or makes it a pet vacuum. I couldn't recommed this stick as there are better options from competitors near the same cost.
