The battery lasted maybe 30 minutes if that. But I knew to expect that. It cleaned my laminate floors good enough. Went to use it for a second time on another day and it wouldn’t turn on. It made a very low whirling sound as if the motor was trying to turn on but nothing. It was fully charged. I took it in to Best Buy and exchanged it with no problems. I did try calling Hoover but every time they were closed. I bought the Hoover -REACT whole home cordless pet vacuum. So much heavier but it’s worth it! It cleans up excellent and the battery lasts much longer.

great stick vac but...

Doesn't have quite as much suction and the battery doesn't last anywhere near as long. I have the previous model and it cleans my entire first floor (5 decent sized rooms) on a charge. The new one poops out after 3 rooms. Still a great stick vac, just not up the the performance of the previous one.
