It will even fluff up the carpet quite well (though I will always prefer to use my corded vacuum on the carpet). Puts my cordless Electrolux to complete shame, and wasn't much more expensive (wish I'd just bought the Hoover to begin with). Battery seems to have long running life so far. Thank you, Best Buy, for not only offering this vacuum at the same price as Amazon (plus free shipping), but WAY faster delivery (in fact, it arrived a day sooner than promised).

I looked at the reviews and it said this was good for bare floors. Nope....this has poor suction! It picks up sand but then dumps it back on the floor when you pick the unit up. Does not matter if you use the brush or not. I wanted too long to return...so I am stuck with this junk.

I charged it up and it ran really well for the 20 seconds that it actually ran. Then it died. I don't know it it was the batter or the sweeper itself but it was completely dead. Had to return it and bought a Shark.
