I even have the charging dock plugged into a surge protector and the batteries just randomly are unusable. Getting quite frustrated with this and looking into buying a while new vacuum because of it!

It has no real life. You will get a solid five minutes and then it's recharge time. I bought this second battery so I could get 10 minutes of cleaning. That's not a lot when you clean carpets.

Batteries fail within 6 months.

If this is how it’s going to be with these batteries I might have to consider another brand.
