Q: Can I use a 4.0 battery with a Hover vacuum that comes with a 3.0?
A: Hi MP, Absolutely! That is what makes the Hoover ONEPWR lineup so versatile. You are able to use any Hoover ONEPWR battery with any Hoover ONEPWR machine! The only caveat, is that the lower amp hour batteries will have a shorter overall runtime that the larger amp hour batteries. Thanks! The Hoover Team

Q: Will this work as a spare battery for a Simplicity S65 cordless vacuum?
A: The only thing I know this battery works on is hoover products. Would have to check the owners manual for the correct battery to use in simplicity products.
