Had been using an an old vacuum that I firmly believed I didn’t need another one. Finally gave in and bought this one. Compared it to my old one by going over it with this new Hoover, and it was a huge difference! Picked up a lot of little particles of dirt and dust that my old vacuum wasn’t. Suction has been great, the cord is a good length, and extension wand is extremely helpful! The upholstery tool is pretty worthless and doesn’t get much off the furniture, but that’s a pretty minor complaint cause the hose with one of the other tools gets the job done! Overall happy with my purchase. Definitely recommend

Vacuum was very easy to set up and has pretty good suction. Vac has a very long cord which makes it nice not to have to unplug all the time to have room

I have had this vacuum for about 3 weeks now and have used it several times. I can promise it has been through the ringer as we have 2 cats and 2 family members with long hair. I vacuumed the carpets clean the first time after being without a working vacuum for about 3 months and it was like walking on new carpet. No exaggeration. I was thrilled! There was no loss of power or suction. It rolled smoothly and moved swiftly. The bagless collector worked well and was easy to remove. This has been a great purchase so far and I truly hope it continues to perform well.

Replaces a 14 year old Hoover that still works. Easy to roll, light shows where have been missing dirt in corners. Easy to pull short or long wand out for hard to reach places. So far no dog fur build up on beater bar. Like storage for small attachments on side of unit. One caution- pet turbo tool powered by high suction level so not good for vacuuming soft materials like dog beds (too much suction) but works well on stiff materials/upholstery

Lightweight but powerful. Does a great job on both carpets and tile. Easy to empty canister, and easy access to other parts for maintenance. Highly recommended.

This vacuum has great suction power, and is a quiet vacuum. the head rotates easily and lays almost flat to get under hard to reach areas. It also is easy to empty.

I had researched quite a few vacuums but decided this one might be the one. I bought it at my local Best Buy and took it home. Easy to unbox, put together (like 2-3 needed attachments) and it was on. Vacuuming with this was a breeze, the swivel is definitely a plus and not flimsy at all, unlike others with the swivel design. Attachments are good quality and I especially like the little black bag that comes with it. The vacuum has a lot of power and that is reflected on its powerful suction. I immediately noticed that this was picking up dirt left behind from the my other vacuum (which I had just used). I like the on/off button for the brush in case I want to head over to my hardwood floors and not kick dirt around. I also love the LED headlights, it lights up the way and gives it a nice modern high tech vac look. Well, there are much more good things to say about the Hoover PowerDrive Pet vac, but overall I love using it. Just make sure you check for hair on the brush head, clean it out occasionally, and you'll be fine.

Excellent vacuum with great suction, easy accessible attachments and easy to detach hose as well as emptying of canister, very long cord and great price.

I really like the vacuum. It has good suction, the removable wand is great for reaching high corners, and the attachments are so helpful. I've had the Hoover for about a week now, and my only problem is the thing falling over when I take the wand out, and it's standing on its own. Larger vacuums are much sturdier. Not sure that's a word. Overall, would recommend. :)

Great at picking up dog hair; the pet cleaning attachment comes in rather handy. Noticed a huge difference compared to our previous vacuum.

The suction on this vacuum is strong which makes me have to move the nozzle on the handle to let air out or it will make the vacuum work harder, at which point it sounds like it will burn the motor out. When I move the nozzle on the vacuum to let the air out it then does not pick up dirt on my carpet as easily because it does not have the power. I also wish the dirt cup would hold more dirt. The cord length on this is awesome because I can go from one side of the house to the other. I also like the brush to use for dusting because it is a softer brush so it does not damage my furniture.

I purchased this vacuum just two days ago, but am already quite impressed. It's removing junk from my carpets to the point where I'm embarrassed to look at what's in the dust cup. Besides the excellent suction, I really appreciate (1) the LED lights, (2) maneuverability, (3) brush roll on/off button, (4) ease of assembly, and, (5) relative quietness for a vacuum cleaner. Obviously, I can't comment on longevity, but based on my previous Hoover, this one should do just fine.

2 large working dogs, 3 cats on a small farm south of Seguin. Sandy soil and plenty of it, used to have allergies all the time. Used this vac and couldn’t believe how many times I had to dump the container. Was going to get the next up brand the $250 model, but hey I’m cheap, so I didn’t so I can’t speak to that pet vac but this one is great for the money. No more allergies and the carpet never looked better and the power wand works great on my truck’s back seat! No more dog hair! Worth every penny. Had it a month or so, kinda like vacuuming now...well I reckon I like it better now.

It works just as good as the other beefed up ones the only thing that I noticed is that it is not great for thick carpets, my house has mostly hardwood and it works well for that. It is easy to move and lighter, also it can reach to places fast without worrying about attaching things. This is my second one as the first the motor failed after 3 months. So Far so good.

Needed a vacuum now!!! I vacuum daily hard wood floor and carpet flooring and my my Shark beater brush quit. And come to find and not been working for some time. Looked up and I wanted a upright with a light a lot of the new models do not come that way. I found this model got great deal came with a light and I am so happy. This is model is picking things up and working up to my needs and then some. Easy to pick up Comes with everything I need PERFECT VACUUM

I love this vacuum - it's easy to use and powerful at sucking up cat hair. It is a little heavy and the wheels catch on uneven surfaces but the handle at the top of the canister makes it easy to lift over the edge of the rug. The swivel head makes it easy to turn corners and it sucks dust from 2 inches away. Definitely better than the Shark

This vacuum does a great job with our constantly shedding dog and cat on carpet. The extra attachments for the hose are helpful for getting hard to reach areas and corners that collect fur. Only negative to speak of is that is a little heavy/clunky when maneuvering, but I wasn't expecting a super lightweight vacuum at this price point anyway.

This is a great lightweight vacuum and powerful. Love to use it. Easy to dump the dirt out.
