Cant believe Hoover put their name on this

The brush does not automatically disengage but requires a foot pedal be pressed. If you forget to do that it either keeps spinning which damaged our linoleum floor or blinds up and burns out the belt. The auto retracting cord is absolutely terrible. The actual cleaning ability of this machine is average. I've purchased far cheaper vacuums that greatly out class this junk heap.

Wife hates it

Cuts off after ~5 minutes

Like so many reviewers have stated, it cuts off quickly. i don't think its overheated in that amount of time from my use, I don't have pets, I'm 57 and live alone so I don't produce a lot of dirt/dust.

The vacuum cleaner is not sturdy and feels cheap.
