This vacuum is fairly lightweight and easy to maneuver. It gets most of the dirt off of the carpet. However, sometimes it will not pick up the pet fur, and I have to go over the area a few times until it picks it up.

Great vacuum and great price, I made a good purchase.

This Hoover out does everything I've vacuumed with. It really pulls up the dirt and pet hair. Be prepared to empty the canister often. The retractable cord is not a plus, however. The cord has to be pulled out all the way or it gets extremely hot; and it doesn't retract smoothly.

the basic vacuuming function is very good - however - the attachments are pretty much worthless - if you have attachments from an older model hoover - keep them to use with this vacuum

We have 2 Alaskan Malamutes which means we have plenty of pet hair to vacuum regularly. This vacuum does a very nice job and the non-bag, cannister style compartment is easy to empty. The filter is much nicer than any I have found in previous machines and I especially love the extra long cord.

Vacuum was on sale and so far, it seems like a good value for the price. One of the reasons we got this vacuum was the automatic cord rewind which doesn't work very well - That is frustrating.

My 25 year old Hoover vacuum cleaner finally died. Did some online research and narrowed down my selection. Best Buy had a cleaner I wanted and it was in stock at the store. Drove over and picked it up. So far we're very happy with this product and it's cleaning abilities.

This vacuum cleaner does what it's supposed to do, so I have no real complaints. I like the retracting cord, which my prior machine did not have. My only complaint is that it is heavy, and I wish I had given more thought to its weight before I chose this one..

Suction is great on thick carpet, easy to handle...

First vacuum i ever owned and its great(: sucks everything in a instant and leaves no traces, love the different levels of picking up dirt i can use it just about everywhere(tile floor,low carpet like step mats and high carpet,) dont regret it one bit never even looked back at another vacuum

I did some research before buying this vacuum. I have an indoor cat and dog and I thought my other “pet” vacuum did a great job. However, the first time I vacuumed with this, which was 2 days after my other one went out, it picked up more than I thought was on my carpets.

My Bissell broke the night I realized my dogs had fleas. Yeah. So I went with a Hoover 3 pro. Got it home and assembled it in 5 min. Likes: suction power adjustable heights weight tools for couch Dislikes: emptying the bucket cord retracting

We bought one of these for my daughter for Christmas We tried it out in our house after she opened it and were amazed at what it was picking up out of our carpet. We thought we had a pretty good vacuum, but this one is far superb. We liked it so much we purchased another for ourselves.

The vaccuum overall does a great job however i feel like it should come with a water or longer extensión hose because i still have to arch my back for the tool to reach the floor. But so far as far as picking up the dust and hairs and emptying the tray it's very easy and convenient

I have used this for a couple weeks and find that it is a good machine. I was shocked at the amount of dirt my old vacuum wasn't picking up.

Coming from a Dyson for 10 plus years, it finally bit the dust. I don't have 400 plus to get another, so I tried this one. It does it's job, but feels so much more cumbersome and agile to use. Worth the price, but a downstep for sure.

Sweeps well. Not fond of having to put it in floor mode or hose mode. Also the piece to wrap the cord around at the bottom was plastic and broke off within weeks of having it.

This product is a lot heavier than I realized. I have steps and I may end up having to purchase an additional vacuum for upstairs. This one it not comfortable to take up and down the steps.

I had a white lab stay with me and it was not able to provide 100% removal. It is close, however if it had just a tad bit more suction it would be perfect. This is perfect for a dorm or an efficiency, an 1800sq foot house would need a longer retractable power cable and longer hoses for the wand usage. I can only give a vacuum 5 stars when it is truly perfect out of the box, 4 stars if it truly gets animal hairs after a few passes on different rug heights and texture. 3 if the price and power gives you back an honest clean. I would say do not pay over the $59.99 deal of the day price. At this price it is a winner of a deal.
