This laptop seemed very good from the reviews, and I wasn't quite concerned at first that it could only take Google software. However, after a couple months I realized there were some programs I couldn't access that were needed. I bought it for online college classes, and couldn't access the classes because of software issues. Besides that, this is a very simple and easy to use laptop. I started having some issues with the mouse, and after doing a little research saw that it was a common problem within these laptops. If you're needing a laptop for the bare minimum, I recommend this completely.

The Chromebook is awesome. The operating system is almost immune to viruses. You can operate easily from the cloud.

Awful display besides that seemed fine immediately returned it. It was for my mom but she wasn't able to use it cause of the display.

I gave a 4 because of the system memory. Although that doesn't really matter because everything saves to your drive, it could still have just a little more. This is perfect, I can open all of my MS Word files that already saved and edit them and save them. The employee in the store didn't know much about it and told me that I would not be able to run word or create documents with it and directed to another purchase which was about 200 more. I went back and said if it doesn't work out I can bring it back. All i wanted was something to edit, change and create documents for work; and this does just that a bit more. If you create a document in Google Docs, you save it (automatically done, never losing work) and open on a PC and download as a Word file, OR, a PDF, and several others. If you create a word doc on a PC you can open it in Google Docs and also redownload, creating a PDF. This thing is awesome. No clutter of programs and docs on the desktop and you can like your dropbox to it as well. I tested the battery life while working on it and got a full day out of it with some more to go. In standby mode, I gave up about half way through the second day with still more than 90% life. It's light weight and works great. The google slides works perfectly with created presentatations and PowerPoint files as well. It has an HDMI port for connecting to the projector and runs super smooth when connected. You cannot go wrong if you are looking something to just handle documents and take to meetings rather than lugging a lap top or fumbling with a tablet and keyboard.

I wanted a laptop that I could have word, not Google docs. Just not what I expected.

I am enjoying the chromebook. Especially since I don't have to buy spyware. Thanks.

So far The Geek Squad has had this more than I have. After 1 month I believe it's been in the hands of repair people more than mine. I wanted to like this but so far not so much.

Worst purchase of a laptop ever. Had it one month before sending it for repairs! Poor design and lousy customer service. The last computer I'll purchase at Best Buy !!

Bought as xmas gift, had a sticking key. Frustrated as 3 keys now stick and its now getting keyboard replaced as factory repair under purchased 1 year warranty.
