Q: does it have word or office?
A: It has a Google version of Word that works just the same.
Q: Is it possible to add iTunes?
A: Chromebooks do not support iTunes software but you can use GooglePlay to upload music to your iPhone.
Q: How long is the battery life?

A: I have streamed Amazon video with no problem.
Q: instruction manual included ?
A: The Chromebook does run you through a good number of tutorials. It does have a printed guide although it is more setup and starting to use than anything truly useful on a daily use basis.
Q: How do you set up Skype on Chromebook?
A: To the best of my knowledge, Skype is not "supported" on Chrome. There are some work-arounds, but I haven't tried them. If the people with whom you want to communicate have a Google account, Hangouts or Video chat through Gmail works great. I also like the messaging service on Gmail. Kind of like texting, and you can be in contact with multiple people simultaneously.
Q: Does this have an HDMI port and a port for headphone
A: Yes it has both.
Q: I am having trouble finding a compatible case
A: Same here. I cut off a pant leg from an old pair of carpenter jeans. It makes the perfect laptop sleeve.
