To the best of my knowledge, Skype is not "supported" on Chrome. There are some work-arounds, but I haven't tried them. If the people with whom you want to communicate have a Google account, Hangouts or Video chat through Gmail works great. I also like the messaging service on Gmail. Kind of like texting, and you can be in contact with multiple people simultaneously.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had a chrome book, and to be honest. I don't think you can use Skype on a chrome book. Everything with that laptop has to be google based. You can use Google hangouts which is video calling, but you cant use Skype.
