Excellent laptop IT was perfect to my son I loved

This laptop is not only very slow, but worst of all, I've only had it for two months and now anytime I move it; being from a table or from my lap it gives a pixelated screen and then restarts. It's very annoying because sometimes I am in the middle of doing a task and it does not save and I have to redo everything. I completely regret this purchase! My advice is to just save up your money and get something better, this cheap machine is not worth the headache.

I would have given this a 4 star however the first one I bought was defective so I had to take it back the next day. The one I got to replace it works much better. I still give it a 3 star.

Bought this computer for my son since he needed one for school. But I must say, it is somewhat slow. The camera is great, but at this price point I was expecting a tiny bit more.

Purchased for my 10 year old and although decent value for the money, I wish I would have spent a bit more and gotten something a bit quicker and with touch screen.

Does the basic stuff if that’s all you need. It’s somewhat lightweight. The keyboard does not have lights so good luck typing in the dark

I bought this lightweight laptop for personal use. I used it 2 or 3 times over the 3 months I have had it and went to use it today and nothing is working. I’ve tried everything and Beat Buy won’t help without charging me. I’ve tried looking into warranty and it’s so complicated I’m counting this purchase as a total loss. Very disappointed in the brand and Best Buy for not better supporting the products they sell.

We purchased this product for daughter's birthday with intent to use for virtual schooling. I'm unsure what the issue is, but I'm not too happy with this product. Product started improperly functioning within 4 months of purchase. Thank goodness I purchased Geek Squad. It didn't help. After receiving product back, it still does not operate properly. Slow processing, black screen at times. Product is (and was) protected by Verizon Digital Secure.

Its now 2021 and computer is a bit slugish. But its for my daughter online school so for that it works great. I would not buy this for my personal use.

This laptop is suitable for light users. It meets my needs which are simple: online access, basic document creation, email, etc.

We bought this cheap computer for our kids to use. For Windows 10 based products, it seems to fare well. But, once you put a load on the processor (ex: Minecraft-Java), the capabilities of this laptop slow to a crawl. Users who want to do any higher load processing would be advised to go with a better computer, because this will give you headaches trying to make it work. Outside of it NOT being a gaming computer, this little laptop looks nice; feels nice; and functions well for basic computing.

The processor is not fast, and not having touch screen sucks. However, I get what I pay for. This was a quick buy to get a project completed. Good as a secondary back-up.

Laptop works well, very cheap price if you don’t need something for everyday use. Works decently well for work use on Office365. Would recommend for quick, cheap work.

Such a great deal I couldn’t pass it up for a gift for my wife. The thing is she barely uses it for some reason. It works well when it’s own though.

To slow even for the price, don’t waste your money. Gave it 2 stars just to be fair. It dose work at least!

Purchased this for my kid's school work. Its one starting to struggle with bit of load, can hear the loud fan noice all the time. But just gets the job done

A very basic laptop, good for just surfing the internet, word processing. A bit slow, you’ll need to add more ram.

Bought for home-school use during the pandemic. Cheap, yes, but considering it is an HP, I expected WAY more. A turtle on a hamster wheel would win in a race. My daughter lost 3 teeth before the page loaded, missed her graduation from kindergarten, and moved to another school district.. all before her internet stayed on, like it should have from day 1.
