Very durable and cost effective laptop. Able to handle graphically intense software, though does heat up quite a bit, so a cooling pad is suggested

This laptop is decently fast and easy to setup. However, a couple of things to know. The Windows 10 S mode will severely limit your options for downloading (like Chrome). You'll want to exit the S mode, which was pretty easy. A disappointing feature was the wireless adapter. It won't recognize 5G wifi bands. You'll have to purchase a dual-band adapter after the fact for around $40. Otherwise, it's easy to use and very lightweight.

I have been using this laptop for the past 3 1/2 years. I'm happy to say it has served me well. Only now, after 3 1/2 years, have I run into some trouble with the screen.

This laptop is the best you could buy the screen is incredible and the speakers you think you are in a movie theater most buy again!!!

Very durable for the price, very reliable for school work

Bought this for my nephew that was junior HS. It have 138gb storage that he can use when he is doing homework. He put it to use, by using it for light weight games and watching movies. It is lightweight and touchscreen. It is good for the price of it being touch screen.

Git this for my daughter so she would have to rely on the schools chromebook. Best this is she can take it with her when she goes to college. Money well spent.

"You get what you paid for" is the lesson learned here. I purchased this laptop to do very basic functions on (e-mail, browsing, and online shopping mostly). I found it very hard to work with S-mode, which comes installed on the computer. It's also very difficult (but possible) to get out of S-mode, but it does make the computer significantly slower. I'm a life-long fan of HP as they tend to last a very long time. I think this computer will last quite awhile as well, but I'm not impressed at all with the performance or the speed. It does work for basic functions if you need something inexpensive. Next time, I will opt for a better quality model and save myself the frustration.

Purchase for my son it is great for simple web browsing and school work

After buying minecraft and changing the settings to be a little bit lower than bringing them up a little bit minecraft runs amazing when you first run it it might be a little slow but then it runs amazing

Over all the laptop is good once s-mode is turned off. But HP is advertising 8 hrs with battery fully charged. I'm only getting maybe 5 hrs with the battery on best battery life. Called HP & they told me let the laptop drain fully dead then charge laptop to 100% and run a battery test this will rest the battery. Well that didn't help out at all.

This laptop is cheap for a reason. It feels cheap (poor quality) and performs poorly. The graphics are horrible (very gray and pixelated) and it is extremely slow. The laptop is unable to connect to my 2G and 5G wifi because the wireless adapter can't handle it (a JOKE). It is completely useless and a waste of money. I'm appalled HP can sell such a piece of crap to their consumers. This is laptop should only be purchased for children. This is my first and last HP laptop.

I wish I did not miss the 15 day take back at best buy it was 20 days when I see I don't even get 4,5 hrs out of the batt it said 10.5 hrs hell no the first week only got 5 hrs and now 20 days later I'm lucky to get 3,5 hr wish I can take it back but looks like I'm stuck with buying a new batt soon :( The laptop is ok but batt life sucks but sure next week it will be only a 2 hr charge sucks!

This computer is very slow. I bought this laptop because I thought it would be nice and convenient (because of its size and weight). However, I was very disappointed to find out how slow and unworkable this thing can be. It can't even play a normal youtube video without it glitching and freezing. If I knew how awful this thing would be I would have rather just bought a simple tablet. I feel very disappointed and honestly ripped off.
