Purchased two of these laptops on sale (cheap) with the intention of upgrading them. The processor and hard drive are capable of better performance than this laptop will allow so I immediately purchased additional RAM. HP says that you cannot install additional RAM but slots are available and up to 4 times more than is supplied can be installed. Installation of RAM in this laptop is more involved than in many other models (the case has to be spilt open) but there are many videos on YouTube showing how to do it. You have to be a little careful and take your time but in 15 minutes you’ll have a much more powerful laptop for a really budget price that is capable of running multiple applications at once.

Got for my wife when Coronavirus kicked everything into work from home to 1000th degree. Works well and gets the job done for my wife to work remotely a few days a week. No complaints and easy setup.

I always liked the brand. For the price the laptop is good but I regret buying it, I found it very slow

My computer is the best. I Love it!!! From playing games,surfing,doing work and checking emails.... Its gets every job done

Can be upgraded with 8GB RAM -after market about $30. Is about equal in performance to a Core I-3 530 processor. Pretty good for everyday duties (not for gaming).

Replaced my Samsung Galaxy view tablet, that I loved, with this windows 10 computer. So far, it's running smoothly, and loads up in about 30 or so seconds, that's when the internet finally connects to my router. I had geek Squad, setup my computer with my antivirus, firefox and duck duck go. This seems to all work smoothly! However, the keyboard is not backlit, which makes it hard to use in low lighting. Also, my computer wouldn't discover my hp printer. So, I downloaded hp drivers and it still only shows Microsoft pdf. I will have Geek Squad, fix my problem and continue to enjoy my computer.

I bought this laptop for my son who is in hight school, and I must admit that it is more than I expected, it has a good speed browsing the internet and it is very complete. Excellent price-value ratio

I bought this laptop for my 7yr old daughter to do virtual school at home due to pandemic. She loves it! It's easy to use and we haven't had any problems.

Can't beat this laptop for $200. Others might have more power in their graphics to better run Fision 360, but it's just enough and that's all that's needed.

It has some issues but overall, it’s still a nice laptop. Very lightweight and easy to use. I just wish it had more space.

It is a computer that goes to the point with your lifestyle, because it fits anywhere and is super skinny. Has a decent speed and battery life

Was hunting for a laptop for my daughter for extreme light gaming and school and this fit the bill. Does everything I want it to and has run extremely smoothly with no problems. Great buy for sure.

I don't think he's cracked it open for 2 months. I bought this for my 12 year old for school and games. It was way too slow for games. I had to use it for a few days for work and thought I was going to lose my mind...it is so slow...I got him a little thumb antenna thing to improve wireless and that helped him a tiny bit but really...its so slow I would not recommend. when I used it was only doing word processing things and it took forever...

Gets basic school work done. It came be slow launching apps sometimes but, you get what you pay for.

It is working for what I need it to do, but with the limitations of the processor, if any sort of update is going on the whole thing slows down unreasonably.

I purchased this for my girlfriend about a year ago. I've never been a fan of HP laptops, so I was hesitant. But as I'm shopping for a new laptop for myself, I can't help but stop and be amazed at how great this little thing is. After this long, it still runs like it's fresh out of the box. I have had the typical windows problems with slow start ups. But it's rare enough that it doesn't bother me. This is an extremely light and fast laptop. Never gets to hot, or to loud. Although it's not even half as powerful, I think I might like this as much as my previous Asus machines. A solid, well balanced everyday laptop.

I got this for my son birthday, He is supper happy with it, easy to use, he does all the school work with it. Little bit heavy but He loves it.

Overall this laptop is not to shabby for the price, might run into a slight lag on excel while scrolling but other than that I luv it! This would be good for light user's or a great beginners laptop.

Computer works great for what I use it for. Primarily use it to store photos and search the internet. I do use it daily and has been running flawlessly.

I bought this for the wife to do school work. It works great for what she needs. The touch pad is kinda wonky but hey. For the price it was worth it.
