S-Mode Cannot Be Disabled

I disabled S-Mode on another computer, but it just can't be done on this one. I followed the instructions to the letter, but at the final step nothing happened. The Windows App Store technician tried to fix this by reloading Windows, but we still could not get rid of S-Mode and go to plain Windows Home. The technician said this is a problem with the Windows software, not the computer. I have spent many frustrating hours working on this problem.

really good for a secondary laptop

I couldn't go without a computer, so I bought this smaller HP. I really like it, especially the keyboard. Bottom line, I'd give it 4 out of 5 stars.

Solid performance

Once the s mode was taken off she loves this computer. It is great for her to get online and other easy tasks. I liked it had a 128gb sad onboard instead of using cloud storage like a lot of the other inexpensive options as it was less for my mother to learn.

Good Bang for the Money

The laptop really only is good at running one program at a time, but if that is all you need then the device will suffice. I no longer needed this laptop (I only needed it for a certain class I was taking) so I gave it to a friend and they very much enjoy this laptop.
