We purchased this computer for two purposes. Our other computer's hard drive died. We plan on getting a better computer around the holidays but this one is doing exactly what we had hoped for and will go in to our motorhome for traveling.

Nice laptop for the price. Added additional memory since there was an open slot. Also an open drive slot and might add one in the future. Only complaint is the screen resolution. Wish it was better but fine for browsing the internet.

HP - 14" Laptop - Intel Pentium Gold has held up, this was a cheap but a solid buy, was purchased for a first time college student and this works perfectly for her needs. I would recommend for any one seeking a entry level laptop.

Too small ~ should have bought a larger one Can,t get games I got used to on Windows 7 Audio is inadequate Would recommend as a quick carry-around part timer , not an every day machine.

I needed a new laptop at the last minute because my Dell died. After reading several reviews, I decided to purchase this one because it was very reasonably priced. It works very well. I have zero issues or complaints so far.

HP has proven to be an excellent brand of laptop and computers in my household. I have had the pleasure of owning 6 of these and I would not trade my HP laptops for any other brand.

Decent for the price. It's obviously not going to be top of the line but it does what I need it to do. I haven't had any problems with it. I would say it has had light use.

We don't know much about computers & apparently neither do the kids at Best Buy. We asked for help since we needed to get our kids acquainted with technology (so they weren't behind like we are) This doesn't do anything that we needed it to do. Apparently we should've done our own research & maybe could've spent a little less money for what this is. The casing isn't very sturdy, it was scratched when we pulled it out of the box. Sound is awful. Hopefully they are able to fix these miniscule things, I have an HP all in one in the study & its perfect.

The basic laptop needs only a few things to do most tasks. This one provides all that plus the SSD and just enough memory and processor to get the job done. Don't look for much more than that and you have found a good deal.

Computer works good, but the mouse pad is very sensitive and the sound is very limited. Other than that, it works great! Battery life is efficient and charging time is no problem. Definitely recommend this computer.

The laptop in itself is good if the functionality you're after is the basic editor and simple processing. The issues I have experienced were it would prevent it from being a value for money laptop are as follows: 1. Connectivity - wifi (note it only detect slower than 5g ones) does keep disconnecting from time to time. I can attest from other reviewers that this does happen. 2. Built - the laptop i got kept freezing whenever its help at a certain angle (picture yourself holding the laptop with your left hand at the left corner and it kind of dangles a little). Once it freezes it you can only shut it down then by holding the power button. Those are only 2 but major issue for me to give it a good rating. Sadly the after sales support aren't very reliable as they are very limited to just simply running the diagnostic tool (something anyone can easily do from the laptop) and of course did not detect the above issues. I did demonstrate to them the built issue sowing it actually froze but regardless they are dependent on the result of a software. Since the 2 issues i raised are not detected by the diagnostic tool the laptop to them is fine. I would've returned this laptop within a few days had I experienced those issues but sadly I only needed to use this previously at a location without wifi and its just lying flat (no chance of the freezing issue) the whole time. Hope this review helps others considering this at a sale. It is good if you wont be utilizing the wifi part. Otherwise it is very annoying having to keep reconnecting to wifi (1. I disconnect fully - it does not reconnect at all, 2. I click on the wifi, 3. I refresh the page I'm at - usually streaming service like Netflix and Hulu)

Has been an enjoyable laptop while I’ve had it. Now I haven’t used it as much as I would like but it’s a decent daily use computer if not doing many tasks or things like gaming.

This was a replacement laptop for my daughters Acer that stopped working out of the blue and I found the ease of setup and use.for this to be worthwhile for a teenager. It fits her needs and does the job well.

Love it is petite and ready to use easy to install Technological advances at its best easy to use and best used with an external drive when you utilize space it makes it run slower

It was a challenge for me to have a laptop without a numerical pad and without an optical drive. Other than that I really like this laptop. The smaller size and the lighter weight is really nice.

I just needed a computer for school nothing too fancy but capable to perform for all the classes I needed it for. This laptop is sufficient for all my needs.

Bought this for my daughter she needed a laptop so she could work from home it is exactly what she needed no problem at all and she uses it for 8 hours daily has never had a problem

Wife uses for web browsing, office suite and it works great. Fast startup and good battery life. For the less than $200 we paid couldn't be happier.

This has been a perfect little laptop for me. I don’t use it for a lot so I’m not sure how it would do for someone that was an experienced user.

The screen and resolution was as expected. My computer crashed and I needed a new one at a valued cost. This was by far the best purchase and it has enough memory space to do the job!
