Bought this for my son as he was beginning college. He has had now for over a year and it still works great, quick. No complaints, nice size. He loves it for college and takes it with him everywhere.

My daughter is the one who really could answer this better than I could being that she is the only user of this laptop. She is using it for college and it is obviously serving its purpose because I haven’t heard a single complaint out of her since I purchased it. What we were specifically looking for in a laptop that would work for her is something that would be capable of running the many programs she will have to have for her courses without issues. Plenty of storage. And it runs quickly and smoothly. Not to mention quite affordable.

Purchased this little monster for my mom, a good balance between Portability and desktop prowess. Using a small added screen when it’s in the kitchen for cooking with enough battery life to let it sit for hours long baking sessions that being plugged in, and power to have replaced her desktop with a Docking station and utilizing two very nice monitors. Honestly bang for the book.

Use as a work laptop for home. Runs my programs fast and efficient. Holds a charge for long periods . Lightweight and thin.

Reviewed at one month: I needed to replace my old HP desktop which was could not be upgraded to Windows 11. This HP22dd0224 with Windows 11 was a reasonably priced choice that meets my needs of internet browsing, emailing and document writing. I tried using it for the first week with the factory installed Microsoft "S" mode, which increases security by restricting access to only Microsoft approved apps, software and browsers, and found that far too restrictive for my needs. After a week trial, I turned off the "S" mode, and had much faster and very satisfactory response and performance. If you are savvy and not inclined to click on potentially damaging sites, I would recommend disengaging "S" mode. It might be good to keep "S" mode if you have users who can't recognize potential problems or need to impose general restrictions. I noticed in the posted ratings the negative reviews spoke to very slow performance and being inadequate for serious gaming. I suspect the slow response reported is likely from running in the preinstalled "S" mode. This is not a "gaming" oriented computer. Select something with higher capacity if that is a main goal.

Great pc, thin, light and surface resistant. Fast when multitasking and easy to connect with other devices. Overall great quality and great price.

Does what I bought it for very well. Runs at a good speed, boots up quickly, and I can do all my classwork, homework, and potentially even any career work on this laptop in the future. The battery life as well is good and can last me most or the whole day. Main downside is just the size of the hard drive. You may want to consider other options if you need more space or (in my case), I plan on using virtual storage and potentially an external hard drive or SSD in the future if need be. Right now I am plan on using virtual storage first, but again it may not be best for you depending on what it is you need to deal with, access, and/or keep secure.

I love my new laptop. It runs fast, the battery lasts long, it’s a lot lighter than my last laptop, and I don’t have any issues with streaming shows for my kids.

Great value for the price! Local competitors were $200 more for a similar item. The laptop is easy to set up. It performs really well.

For an under 400 laptop this thing is fantastic. Plus the hardware you get are all on devices that are double the price. I can’t even call it a web surfing kind of a laptop since I use all the Adobe programs on it and it still runs like a champ. I just wish companies stop forcing Mcafee on customers. That virus cleaning software is itself a virus that you can’t rid.

Very good laptop overall for a college student, plus it is quite affordable. It has been about a month or so and has worked excellent for everything I have needed it for. The audio is pretty decent, I still would recommend headphones, but you can hear somewhat well through the laptop. The screen is a nice size, and it fits in my backpack well. The battery life can last me a few days with a single charge based on my particular course schedule. No complaints really, it gets the job done and has been nice.

Laptop had a wide scream and you can split screen view without having small screen. Holds power really well and is lightweight. I love it.

Great value for the price. Has the memory and storage that I needed and processor is handling everything without a problem.

Awesome laptop. I got this to play The Sims 4 on, and to be able to mod my game. I also wanted it fornpersonal use, to resrarch things and use for bill pay, etc. Ive downloaded a good bit of mods for my game. My laptop still fires up lightning fast, theres been no lags in game play or opening different apps, or loading pages. I am extremely happy with my purchase!

Bought this for my dad, easy enough to set up and has decent battery life. Screen will get you by just fine. 16gb RAM is a plus and makes up for the smaller SSD

I have only had it for a few weeks but has worked as expected. Wonderful battery life, slim lightweight laptop. The setup was smooth and easy.

This laptop is perfect for my needs. I use it for my small in-home business, which is word processing and some minor accounting. My 11-yr-old grandson uses it for gaming. He is extremely bright and capable and he is quite excited at this laptop's speed and memory capacity. I did a little bit of research and purchased this particular laptop due to the 16GB of memory and the brand. I lucked out! It's a really great laptop!

It was time to replace my old laptop, and after doing some research, I ended up purchasing this HP. It was very competitively priced and had the processor, RAM, and storage capacity that I was looking for. Unfortunately, the makers of these newer laptops have decided to no longer put in a CD player, VGA port, or ethernet port. However, if needed, there are ways to overcome those deficiencies by using an external drive and adapters. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase.
