||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We purchased this laptop in November 2016 (Black Friday Sale) for my son to start college this August. It has been and it still continues to run extremely slow. Locks up frequently during minimal task usage and with no more than two web pages open at a time. I have taken it back to the Geek Squad twice and they cannot explain, fix or replace the laptop. HP will not do anything. The 1 year Manufacturer's Warranty is hopeless. A complete waste of $600. There's probably a reason why this unit was not carried in stores and only available online. I have been a Best Buy customer for 25 years and it is a shame that they or HP will not resolve this issue and my son starts college in 3 weeks. Don't waste your time or money on this laptop.
