The Wi-Fi protocol supported is not up to date

However, I returned it because the built-in Wi-Fi support does not support ac, the faster speed of wireless connection.

Works fine for surfing the internet. I ultimately returned because I wanted some a little less clunky.

Good choice
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've avoided HP products for years, because my last 2 HP laptops suffered major hardware failures before they were 2 years old. After having to return a Dell Inspiron and an Acer Aspire laptop for quality problems out of the box, tried HP again. I really like this model. It is superfast, and boots in seconds, substantially faster than my Inspiron 15 with an Intel Core I5. Nice keyboard, fair sound, and a quiet fan that is barely audible. The display is easy to read. HP included a fraction of the annoying addware that Dell does. The one annoyance is that for some reason, there is no option in windows to disable the touchpad when a mouse is in use. Haven't tested for battery use yet. Overall, seems to be a quality machine and a good choice for the money.

Charging port very loose

The charging pin wobbles and when you plug the charging cable in the laptop, it feels like it's already about to snap off and it moves from side to side a lot. I returned the laptop due to the loose charging pin.

Solid State Drive (PCI-e) = FALSE INFORMATION

Ad further states 6 cores and 12 processing which is also INCORRECT. Unit does contain Ryzen 5 3500U CPU with 4 cores and 8 threads.
