Look and feel of this laptop is excellent. Display is top notch

Screen size is perfect, just not the best quality. Not even 1080 quality. keyboard feels nice and has the 10-key layout. would be better if it was backlight though. fan sounds a little loud with just basic browsing

Great computer for a high/college student to do research

This laptop has been a very disappointing purchase. After just six months, the microphone stopped working, which makes online meetings and video calls nearly impossible. On top of that, Best Buy is not allowing this model for trade-in, which adds to the frustration. The performance is only average, and overall it hasn’t been reliable. I would not recommend this laptop.

Very functional laptop for a very reasonable price.

Definitely, not expected quality of a HP laptop! Images are not sharp and clear, keeps locking up and speed is fairly slow! I have purchased 2 previous HP laptops and this one really doesn't meet the quality of the two previous ones. Somewhat disappointing.

My husband says it’s slower than his old computer.

Laptop came broken, mousepad issue. Returned it. It was ok; functioned. Just broken upon arrival

This laptop was mainly for basic Internet usage, maybe I expected too much based on other reviews, but unfortunately it fell short. (1) The screen is very low quality, very bright and looks very washed out. (2) Was not able to install Chrome, because this Laptop comes with Windows in S mode. I was not able to remove that S mode following instructions from Microsoft (kept saying "Failed to switch out of S Mode"). I'm sure it is possible to switch out of S-Mode but I didn't want to spend any more time, especially when I really didn't like the screen. Giving 2 stars because it is pretty cheap ($300), but for me even at that price it was not worth it.

Sometimes this computer freezes up. It works great for what I need my son is currently using it for college.

Glad i got it on sale because i'm sort of dis-appointed in it's over all operation . My old HP lap-top was easier to navigate and this new one is loaded with too much Microsoft crap .

Is not what I expected. It need to setup out of window to install external apps. Is little slow. But overall do the job. It would be nice have a touch screen too but no.

difficult to customize; I'm stoll looking for the way to make font (both when typing like this and displays a dark black instead of light blue).
