I bought this for wife's Facebook use. FB news-feed videos would appear blurred out and wouldn't auto-play. Display would go black. Frequent blue screen crashes. Bought on black friday, gave to wife for Christmas, Best Buy wouldn't return - 15 day return policy. HP support was slow to unreachable and now is closed for COVID. Bought wife a 17.3" ACER Nitro 5 to replace this POS. I would not recommend this and don't know what to do with it.

The laptop is very nice, all up until the hinge breaks away from the plastic frame. This is the second HP laptop that I have had this happen to. It always occurs right after the warranty expires. I will never buy HP again. This is coming from someone who has only bought HP for the last 15 years.

only had this laptop for 8months and the screen/base hinge cracked and plastic pieces started falling out when closing for no reason other than being opened and closed. I'm not happy about this product when its not even a yr old and it was never dropped or anything like that uggg…. can anyone make anything in this day and age that lasts for the money we have to dish out for these products, uggg.

The computer is a good basic computer with a larger screen. The webcam is of low quality. The image is grainy. This is not the computer you want if you intend to do much online communication.

I purchased a Certified Excellent Conditioned unit that was about $36.00 less than a new model of this same Laptop. I could not connect to my Spectrum WiFi during setup so I brought the unit to the Bestbuy Geek Squad. The guy there examined the unit and said that the keyboard letters were off. For example if you typed the letter “D” it might register as “M”. This tells me that whoever authorized that Laptop as Certified Excellent Condition unit did a lousy job. However, the return process for a refund went well.

I have had this laptop for less than a year and it has too many issues. From not connecting to WiFi, crashing, and much more. If I knew I was spending roughly $600 for something that was gonna break in less than a year, I would have just held my breath and bought a MacBook instead. I have had these issues happen consistently with every HP, DELL, and so on brand laptop I have ever bought and I will never sink more money into such a wasteful product again.

i was told by 3 best buy employees if i switch to AMD from Intel to just surf web, no streaming movies or music it would be fine. Well I have ATT 100 mbps and all it does when I try to go to a website is buffer buffer buffer. So not happy I was misled that the AMD would run same as Intel to just surf. Thanks

POOR COMPUTER AND PURCHASE GEEK SQUAD FOR $203 AND RETURNED IT AND WOULD NOT REFUND MY MONEY CALLED MY CREDIT CARD CO AND AFTER 3 WEEKS MY CREDIT CARD CO GOT MY REFUND. THAT DOES NOT LOOK GOOD FOR YOUR GEEK SQUAD.

The hinge broke after 8 days. HP says it’s not a warranty issue. Not too happy. No more HP in this house.

In the information shown in Best Buy had an image that illustrated the laptop as a touch screen, but it really isn't. I made the purchase from El Salvador and discovered that the laptop does not have that functionality being in my country, which prevents me from being able to return it since the cost of shipping would be higher than the purchase made; I am very disappointed and I feel cheated

It was an 'open box' purchase and it keeps popping up messages and error messages....when nothing is wrong...

Wish i could give it zero stars.. for absolutely no reason microphone stopped working only purchased for work meetings, no microphone makes it useless for me. No indication why troubleshoot for hours no change and camera display has terrible picture/ video quality

The housing for the laptop is crap. It separated and broke with basic use.

I don’t know how to get rid of the preloaded browser that was installed. I specifically asked if it had that and the salesperson told me no . I want that browser off of my computer so I can build the browser Of my choice . The ( E ) insignia used miss leads people to believe it is Internet explorer . I don’t like being deceived

this laptop is not any better than the 7+ yrs old one i was using. Terribly disappointed.

I am so sorry I bought this lap top! The camera is terrible in this time of Zoom. It’s very blurry. The display is horrible, extremely light on any setting. Geek Squad couldn’t solve these issues when I brought it in after a few weeks. I’m going to try to sell it so I can buy something else. Don’t buy this laptop!

This computer didn’t last very long. Ended up replacing it with another

I bought this as open-box and it arrived with a defective battery. The battery isn't charging and the HP Support diagnostic says it needs to be replaced. Will be returning this laptop. Other than the battery issue, it seems to be a good laptop.

Well, the computer decided to just randomly shut off three days after the year warranty. So, that’s not indicative of a good computer is it? Guess I have to try replacing the battery to see if that resolves. Otherwise, will need to look into a new computer which absolutely sucks.
