Upgraded to this type of system for the larger screen for in-home use. It's working fine for us and we'd recommend it. Display/graphics are good for what we do (light gaming/photos/video).

I purchased to handle data. Works great. I did not need a computer that could bend backwards or for presentations. I have an ipad for that! I just needed function and speed. love it

Seems to run slower than I expected but I like the screen size and that it still has a DVD writer. So it works for what I needed it too.

This is a great computer that doesn't have all the other things. If you need something to just get the job done this is what you want!

The transition to a new Windows 10 Laptop was extremely so much easier than I expected. I really appreciate and am enjoying the larger 17-inch screen for all of my programs.

All in all, it is a good laptop for the money. I would have given it 5 stars if the battery life between charges was longer.

I purchased this as a Christmas present after reading a bunch of reviews on laptops. This one met my expectations and is great, especially with the price tag on it!!

Love my HP. Needed extra computer for office for difference between what goes online and what is safely not allowed online. Easy to use. Great product.

I wanted something simple, but capable. Nothing fancy. I should have listened to the salesman, who suggested that the plastic case/frame/everything would be disappointing over long term. But it was bad from 1st power up. The track pad is made of the same plastic as the case is and has horrible response. Double clicking MIGHT work, but it's so inconsistent there's no telling what it takes to make it happen. Display ain't bad, but if my goal was just to watch movies, I'd buy a 60" tv for less- right, I did. I also liked the addition of the number pad, but every time you close the lid, it turns the NumLock off. And there's NO indicator ANYWHERE that it's on or off. Speed is slow. Opening anything, switching to anything, powering up or powering down -- all took extremely way too long for a brand new i5 processor. I have another lap top with a 6yr old i5 processor that is still faster than this. I'm afraid of how it would perform after I've loaded my iTunes and photo albums on it. Mistake on my part to purchase it. I should have listened to the reviews before me and the salesman.

I bought this computer from the "Best Buy" in Tallahassee, Florida. The Geek Squad came to help me set it up in my home, connected to my WiFi network, and we discovered that the sound system did not work. I have absolutely no problem with the costumer care that followed, however, and was very satisfied with how my problem was handled in a freindly, helpful, and courteous manner. I got another computer that was the equivalent to this one, and am very happy with it.

Have had for 1 month now works fine,except Windows 10 removed a lot of programs.Al tho the programs in HP are OK.

Really helps with a variety of different tasks everyone in house has used it with ease

I haven't used this pc very much and it's a little different with windows10 but it is fast. So far so good.

This laptop is very fast, great screen, high quality. Would have gone to the 5 but it is a little heavy
