HP Laptop: This HP notebook is all about getting the perfect combination of design, reliability, and great features. Style and productivity while keeping your needs in mind - now that's something to get excited about.
Q: Is the memory expandable, and if so, what is maximum?
A: There are two slots. It allows you to insert two laptop DDR4 memory sticks. They lay flat opposite each other, unlike some laptops that somehow stack memory sticks. Getting at it is a bit of a chore, but done carefully, you cannot notice that anyone has ever opened the case. Search IFixit.com for ways to do this. There are a few parts that have adhesive, but in my experience, if you pull these items very carefully, the stickiness will remain intact. The job of separating the case to get at the memory and SATA drive is medium. If you are technically inclined this will be well worth the trouble. If you are not technically inclined, there are better laptops with ease of access. You probably won't find it anywhere near this price point with these specs, but the extra expense might be worth it for you.
Q: Bluetooth?
A: No, this laptop does not have Bluetooth technology.
Q: Does it have a backlit keyboard?
A: The keyboard is not backlit.
Q: Is this a full metal design or plastic?
A: It is full plastic on the exterior. However, that being said, this unit feels sturdy considering that fact. It won't meet any milspec standards, but if you are relatively careful with it, it should last a long time.
A: This is not a touchscreen PC.
A: I have had 4 to 5 windows open at a time, including one hour and a half long youtube vid playing, and another window with internet games running. It was seamless with no noticeable lag on any pages. The processor in this laptop is pretty fast for a laptop and makes this laptop stand out amongst comparable $600 ones.
A: Bought one for my kid and after charging it over night got about the same, 3hrs and 40 minutes.
Q: does it come with Windows 10 pre-intalled?
A: Yes - Windows 10 is pre- installed
