    This has been my primary CB driver and I am able to do ALL my work on it both at work and home. It runs all the Linux apps I need as well from development applications to network apps I use as well. My only knock on this CB would be the screen brightness. It's fine for my use but 300 nits should be the minimal standard.

    Previous experience with Chromebooks was limited to versions kids brought home from school, understandably inexpensive and cheap. This HP Chromebook has the look of a high end laptop and the HD screen looks great. Also, the 14” Chromebook has a noticeably smaller footprint than a 14” laptop, very sleek and lightweight. Very pleased with this purchase.

    Honestly, this is the first Chromebook I have ever owned. IT IS BARE BONES AS FAR AS APPS. That's not a bad thing either- Microsoft has been pushing its software and bloatware on their operating systems and it has been slowly killing my PC. The Chromebook has a few core apps to start, and none of them ever ask for an update or pop up as an ad. It does what I need it to, and that's all I want.
