This laptop is something every student should own. Enough storage space for daily tasks and quick access to Google Apps such as Google Docs now they use very often in their classrooms. It's not light a super lightweighted laptop but thin enough to put it in a backpack and looks stylish.

Love everything about it, I am struggling with printing to a wireless printer but I know it is operator error not the computer, wish they would make connecting a little more straight forward for a computer dummy!

Love this computer its amazing. I love that the keys light up when you are on it so when I'm in the dark I can still see what I am doing lol. I also love the fingerprint scanner it is what sold me on the computer.

So far, this has been one of my favorite purchases. If I had to pick one thing I don’t like, it would be this it doesnt have the normal caps lock button. You have to go in and designate the search button as the caps lock button, or just use shift all the time. Minor

I'm not big on Chromebooks so I won't review the OS. The hardware however is rock solid. It runs fast and build quality is excellent. The screen is very nice. Trackpad works great. If you are looking for an upper midrange Chromebook, this is a good buy.

Works well, boots up much faster than my old windows computer. A few little things that I'm not much of a fan of (didn't notice in the store), like no cap lock key and no delete key, end key, etc. Still a little awkward getting used to the absence of windows, but a great laptop for surfing the internet.

I got this for my 2nd grader for remote learning during the Covid shut down. The upward pointing speakers were loud and clear and the display was good enough for all of the educational apps and websites. I just wish it came with a higher resolution display.

This is a great laptop for someone who's on the move because of how sleek it is. I love this computer because I work solely with the Google platform so the fact that it's a Google device makes it so easy for me to stop and continue working the exact same way I would be on my phone or this laptop

So glad I pulled the plug on this computer..needed a computer that was a good quality and also not so expensive and may I say Best Buy had this for $180 off and I took them up on their sale price and ordered it and I must say I am surprised!

While it seems that it is overpowered for chromebook duty, it is serving us well and I hope the more powerful CPU will last us longer. All is working well. Hooked it up to an external monitor via usb-c port and it is a good remote schooling machine.

Im so glad we got this on BF. We did have to return the first one for speaker problems. It was making a loud buzzing sound. Second one A OK have Best Buy warranty just in case. One star off for speaker problem but I think its isolated situation so one star back up.

I find the Chrome OS fairly fast, and Chrome needs less horsepower to run. This HP Chromebook is a good computer - except for a few limitations - but not at the list price of $599. Wait for a sale... It is fast, runs multiple apps well, and can also download and run many Android apps. The deal breaker for me was the lack of a real white balance control for the screen. Windows 10 has this option, however, so far, there isn't any similar option in Chrome. There is only a night color balance that changes display to a nearly orange tint, but even when turned off, the screen is still too "warm". It was actually uncomfortable viewing for me. I would rather purchase a Windows machine at this price point that has more flexibility. I would recommend only for those who audition this, and find the screen acceptable for their needs....

Looks good. not to heavy, Kid loves it for drawing.

We got this laptop for school and it is really good. Not only simple for kid, but it also has ability to fold, to use the smart pen, perfect design and lightweight. Great keyboard and touchpad!

Excellent Chromebook at a reasonable price. Good snappy responses, great screen, plenty of memory. I haven't found anything to dislike about it. I know that you can find cheaper Chromebooks but I believe this is the best bang for your buck.

Purchased this when it was on sale. Thought it was great to have a laptop and tablet in one. However didn’t realize I couldn’t use Microsoft products such as Word in their full versions so I could not keep. Didn’t realize it so guess it was my mistake! Otherwise very nice

Great deal for the price I paid (400) but not worth more. Also keep in mind that Chromebooks are still limited in 2020 so be aware you won't get a full-fledged laptop. Battery life is NOT the 14 hours they claim either.

I have had this computer for well over a year now and have never, ever m, ever had an issue! I am looking for something similar now and due to all of the issues going on, it is so difficult. Mac has nothing on this computer. I want another one!

Went to bestbuy to purchase chrome book for my niece who is working remotely. Received help from a salesperson and they seem very knowledgeable and help me make a decision and we are happy with our purchase. Most importantly my niece.

Pros: Like the versatility of this computer! Lots of app options Tablet mode is very useful! Cons: It does not have the camera quality I was hoping for. Very grainy image Frequently receive a “High CPU usage” warning when in Zoom meetings (only have Chrome open aside from Zoom)
