Appreciate that everything is on google chrome so no losing any school project for not clicking save! Also no virus or malware to worry about with the laptop and it’s look is so classy and thin! Love it!! Thanks to Best Buy and Jimmy I was very satisfied with my purchase!

This is my third Chromebook and 4th or 5th small laptop so I've had the pleasure of owning several over the years. This time, as I was shopping, I first bought the 14" HP Touchscreen Model: 14-CA061DX for $259. It was an awesome deal and that laptop works extremely well for the price but there are major differences that make more expensive Chromebooks worth the money. The performance difference that you would see with this model vs. a cheaper model is one the less expensive ones you click something and it lags behind for just a little bit and then responds. Sometimes you click to close things and it takes just a second or so. Webpages load a bit more slowly and the screen isn't anywhere near as clear or responsive. With this model you get an amazing processor the Intel core i3 which offers much better speed than the models with an Intel Celeron. Also, this comes with 8GB of RAM which is the memory it's going to use for things as you're working on them. Basically that means you can work on more things at once with a good response. The biggest downside to it is the 64Gb disk so you won't be storing very much locally and you will want to use Google Docs/cloud save etc. The screen on this is crisp, extremely responsive and the case, oh my, that metallic feeling case in white and the trackpad is top notch. This is essentially a little sibling to Google's Pixelbook ($999) and it performs flawlessly. The 2 in 1 feature is something I didn't think mattered that much until I realized you can stand it up in a V shape and it will stand on its own. While in the tablet mode if you need to type it brings up an on screen keyboard, just like a tablet, automatically. The touch screen is extremely responsive and the clarity on the LED 1080 HD screen is amazing. So, if you can justify the extra expense then I'd buy this model over the cheaper ones for sure. However, if you just need something to browse and don't mind if it's not super responsive then a less expensive model is still very easy to use and will work great for browsing and watching shows etc.

Frankly, I had been having a little difficulty with the laptop, however, the salesperson, Kevin, par excellence, was phenomenal and helped me get over the bumps.

I really enjoy using the chromebook. I've had window products for years. This so much better. Yes, there is a learning curve, but not that difficult. The control with the touch pad is so easy to use. Great options to personalize, too.

A Chromebook gets some getting use to like how to use CAPs and where to go to download apps. The screen is a bit faded even on the highest brightness the screen becomes a bit washed out. The computer is fast but does tend to randomly get loud if you are using it for long periods of time.

chromebooks aren't for everyone, but they do what i need ... my last system was at end-of-life for support, and this system does just what i need, with room to last into the future. since chromebooks can already get by on fewer resources, this should last me well into the future.

Bought this originally to replace my Ipad, heard that it could play android apps and games and also be a laptop. Downloaded some games that I played on the tablet and 2 of the 3 I play would not work on the chromebook. Ended up returning and getting a Samsung Tab S6.

Purchased the chrome book for my sons 11 birthday and he absolutely lives using It for school and watching movies. It was offered for a great price when purchased . Now that he’s being schooled at home because of the virus it’s come at a perfect time .

Bootstrapping a new business and my existing laptop couldn’t keep up with the online resources I needed to use. Decided between this and a Surface Pro. Able to use every application I need, video quality is great and it’s working despite a pretty nasty drop the other day.

I bought this computer for my grandson. He is 10 and I wanted him to experiment with it, learn from it, experience it, because it will be so very necessary in his life.

For the price you can't beat it. Great CPU, memory, etc. It works with Crostini (Linux) and has Google Assistant. The only drawback is the screen brightness. It's a bit dark for working in direct sunlight.

This is my first chromebook. I am pleased with everything about this except for 1 thing. The camera on this is terrible and when on Zoom it is blurry and grainy. Which is to bad because that is the primary reason I purchased a chromebook. Live and learn

It has a large and brilliant display and seems much more solid than the other ones. The real keyboard and USB ports when you need them. The perfect 2nd computer for an Apple lover/Windows hater that must use websites built by Apple haters.

so far, so good. My child is very happy with this computer. The shipping was taking forever, so the customer service agent arranged curb side pick up. Seamless and easy -- thank you for great customer service @Towson location.

I have used this for over 6 months and have had good luck with it. I use it for web browsing, and a few apps. It sits on my desk next to my laptop and does everything I need it to do.

I bought this so my daughter could attend school online and its performed amazingly. She has used it every day. The switch that let's use manually turn off the camera is an added bonus. She can surf the web without me having to worry.

I bought this for my wife. It was listed in the Black Friday ad at $379 (down from $629). It's well built, responsive, and the screen and keyboard are very nice. It's a great value at $379, not sure I'd buy it over $450 though.

We bought this laptop for my father in law who wants to use it for browsing, email and Zoom. It has delivered. Great keyboard. Chrome is very user friendly with no learning curve. Chrome Remote Desktop makes it very easy to provide support.

I love my laptop. I'm not good with all this computer stuff but I find it easy to use. I forgot the name of the person who helped me find what I needed but she was extremely helpful and I'm happy with what she recommended.

We bought this for virtual learning after realizing that our older 11” Chromebook was too small to see classmates and the teacher’s lessons. This is a substantial upgrade and has been extremely responsive with an incredible display.
