Seems to work fine for surfing the web. I forgot Chromebooka aren’t really for file storage as I purchased to replace an older laptop and wanted to transfer files. Had to use a USB drive to view old files. Other than that it’s works great!

I only trust Best buy with open box this HP Chromebook with Intel i3 8 gigs ram it's definitely worth the amount of money screen size is good pictures perfect uses type c there is a next size up from this product might be worth the comparison.

We bought this Chromebook for our son because he is on the school, after a little research we choose this one because has better processor and memory besides the color end in a good one for all the activities you want except gaming.

Usually you get what you pay for, but this little gem was the exception! Definitely well worth the asking price! I would buy again and again!

I picked this Chromebook over a Pixel book and it's been great ,the display is good ,the speakers are not great but good enough for me ,the keyboard is amazing and I also like the fact that still have a regular USB port ,I really recommend it .

I’m old school and never had a chrome but this one is very nice. I do wish there was a guide to view on how to manage the system. The mouse sometimes gets hidden until you no how to use two fingers to swipe.

Initially loved this device , despite getting frequent nags that it was hooked up to a low power charger (the factory supplied one) . After about 2 months , the backlight for the keyboard died . Went to the website to troubleshoot , their system confirmed my chromebook model , then asked which operating system was installed , windows 7, 8.1 , or 10 . Could not go further with online support because last I checked my chromebook didn't run windows . Figured out how to talk to a real human at HP and he confirmed that my CB was defective and needed to be sent in . Mind you I had owned it for 2-3 months ad it was under warranty , they pushed for me to purchase a premium shipping option which I declined . They received my CB and sent an email with a link to check the status of repairs , which never changed from "in progress , for 21 days! Day 22 I apparently got a phone call from some random out of state phone number without a message , that was HP . The email on day 23 , and call from another random number confirmed that it was them. The case manager told me she was sorry for the delay in repair but they were having trouble , and a part was back ordered . She offered a new device , a windows machine , or a new chromebook , but said that they didn't have any CB's that were of comparable value . She said that the expected repair date was 9 days out , but she would continue to look for a new unit to send me . 2 days later I got an email saying that the expected repair date had been moved from 9 days to 26 days and that they wanted to offer me gift cards , or I could go purchase a new device then submit the receipt for review to see if they would refund me the original purchase . Their warranty lists repair , replacement , or refund as recourse , not gift cards or go spend your own money to get a refund . I had to fight and harass over several emails and calls to get them to agree to refund me , and from what it sounds like , I have to wait 3 weeks for them to get around to issuing the check . It is quite possible that the defect in my unit was rare , I understand there can be problems here and there with mass produced products , but the way a company deals with these issues and their customers is how they are judged , and I have never had a worse experience with warranty work in my life . The only way I would recommend buying anything from HP is if you can afford to just throw a device in the trash if it has a problem .

It's my first laptop and I love it! I bought it since I'm working from home because of Covid, so I use it for work and my personal business. It has great sound and picture quality and is easy to use.

This Chromebook is great buy for a decent product. It does the job for simple tasks, nothing too complicated. Picture and sound quality is not the best, but pretty good. My kids use it for online school.

My wife could not be happier with her new computer. It does everything that she wants it to do and can't get over how fast it is. She loves it !!!!!!

My daughter needed an upgraded laptop to begin her college career. We chose this model, and after her first three weeks of school, she is 100% satisfied. I personally have an earlier generation model and thoroughly enjoy mine as well.

I would have preferred to have a pen enabled Chromebook, but all of the other perks this device provides me caused me to go ahead and give it five stars! I waited for this to come down in price and my patience paid off. Love it, love it, love it!

purchased for my daughter, she uses for all her classes even pre covid. she loves it, especially the fingerprint feature which allows more security.

LOVE THE DISPLAY, REALLY LOVE THE KEYBOARD, LOVE HOW FAST IT IS FROM BOOT UP THROUGH EVERYTHING I WORK OR PLAY ON WHILE ON LINE TO HOW QUICKLY IT SHUTS DOWN WHEN I POWER IT OFF. THIS WAS A VERY WISE PURCHASE ON MY PART, I MUST SAY.....

I bought this for my Grandson for Christmas. He loved it of course; more than his previous one(a different brand). He's 9 years old. The cost was very reasonable so it didn't break the bank. I'm pleased.

Excellent value, although I wonder about HP's quality control - the first one I purchased had a dead camera. To Best Buy's credit, they exchanged it right away. The 8GB memory makes this Chromebook sing.

My daughter loved the chrome book for her Christmas gift. The camera tricked her at first, not realizing there was a control switch on the side. She looks forward to using this while distance learning.

Chromebook is simple and fast. Love the 360 option to make it a tablet. Easy transition from Windows. I especially like the autosave to the cloud. Don't have to worry about losing anything because I forgot to save my doc.

Bought this on a great deal as an open box. For how much I paid, this is a great computer. Love Chrome OS and the memory and storage space on this. Display is better than others in the price range.

I’m still happy with this laptop considering I first purchased it during the 2020 lockdown, so it was a great help with online learning. The 2-in-1 flip feature is pretty neat too
